  1. Thank you both for your Answers! Much appreciated Then there is still remaing why the AIM9s do the same thing, they shouldn't be affected as they are IR. They don't need that simulated simply because this kind of tracking failure shouldn't exist on them . Would love to see that removed from Heaters. Or is the tracking Algorithm the same with just some different parameters?
  2. i got a question. The Aim 120s and Aim 9Xs seem to be completly unable to hit someone if he is flying low enough. I expirienced this multiple times over the last few weeks, mostly against Helos but here i caught a nice Example of chasing a viggen on Video: I launched a total of 6 Missiles on him, 4 120s and 2 Aim 9s. He succesfully evaded all of them by flying straight. Now i read in one of the patchnotes a while ago that "Ground clutter" is simulated. That would maybe explain the effect on the 120s. Even though i can#t imagine how at that launch angle and even ground the viggen could be hidden by ground clutter. What confused me way more though, is the second Aim9 that i launched at 1:25. It is rear aspect at a viggen with full Afterburner. So really ideal launch parameters. It looks like at a certain altitude, maybe 150 feet, it just stops tracking and flys straigt. After all this explanation. Is that intendet behavior? I can't imagine it to be. especially for the Aim9s thx
  3. I feel like the Waypoint isn't too relevant. I was trying to kill an Enemy EWR once. I designated the Point using the A/G Radar (it was on an Island). And send the Harm on its way from Angels 35 at around 50 miles Distance. Other Times those Parameters worked well but this time there was a friendly EWR (with the same code) around 30 miles away from my Target Point. So the Harm took a Turn and went to my 2 o'clock heading straigt for the Friendly EWR. I don't know if its supposed to be like that or a bug.
  4. Hi, Since the Update if you put on a single 120 onto a Pylon you will get the double Rack Launcher with one Missile in it. Not like until now the single one. I suppose the double launcher has more drag. Also there is no other launcher Option available. If you mount a Aim 7 on the LAU 115 you still get the single launcher. I don't know if thats a bug or supposed to be that way, hence i am asking here. Cheers
  5. i just had my frist MP flight with it and its just so annoying. i use my SA page on my Left DDI, so you go into spot, then SCS left, check bandit altiude, SCS right, you are out of Spot. You lock something up in Spot, drop the lock instantly, you are out of spot, you press undesignate, you are out of spot. Everytime i have to Press and hold TDC Depress for more than a second. It slows the Process of using SA page together with the Radar down by a huge Ammount. If thats how it is in real life, they really didn't make it user friendly lol, atleast not for stressfull situations
  6. Before the Update you could find people a bit outside your Radar Elevation, that is now gone. you can only see them if they are strictly within your Elevation. I don't know if it's intended like that or not. The Radar no longer locks up during F poles which is nice, but it has become quite annoying, a couple of times now i had a hard Time maintaining a lock on Helicopters at rougly 20 miles distance, also a couple of times i could not find cold fighters in front of me (10-15nm range) with the Radar, even though i knew they were there through SA aswell as GCI. Ohh and the Fighters were f16s, as far a i know they don't have a jammer, correct me if im wrong
