Something for myself older 60"s and starting on the FA-18 tutorials and when I start all I hear in the cockpit is the engine sounds which are very loud. I tried the suggustions but I can not figure how to lower the engine sounds. I can not hear the tutorial. JeffG

You are right, I was just frustrated. But that’s OK. I will wait on the F-15E. I have just installed the Janes F-15 strike eagle,and I’ll mess with that until the pre-order comes out. jeffg

I agree, I think no one should buy the Sinai map till we get a more robust answer for when the F-15E will come out which we have already paid for. JeffG

They have been showing the cover of the manual for weeks now, saying it’s coming out before the release of the module. I think just release the manual and than everyone will be reading and not asking when is the SE coming out,or not. jeffg

I can not make it off the ground, I just spin around than roll to side and crash. I have rudder and the stick mapped but the throttle is also mapped. I can not figure out how to map the collective? I would do a track but no clue how. JeffG

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D PRO joystick and for the life of me, which is 68 yrs old I can not get the AH-64 off the ground. I have looked for a profile for the stick and I do not have rudder pedals. Does anyone have suggestions that I can use to make the Apache fly? JeffG

I can not wait for this one, I downloaded and have been playing Jane's Longbow Gold from 1998. I am taking my wife to Costa Rica for vacation tomorrow so I hope the Apache is out when I get back home. JeffG

This guy just came in to KSGJ this morning. These Apaches are the D models according to the pilot I met. They are upgrading in the next few weeks to the E model. Yesterday we had 3 USAF Hueys come in. jeffreymg

That is my problem is the systems are so in depth that’s why I like the F-14 as you have a RIO to help. I have the F-14 but have not yet gotten a lot of time in it. jeffg

I have had DCS on my computer for awhile but due to life’s work and family never really got into it. I am soon to be 67 years old and my wife bought me a TM 1600m Hotas for Xmas this year. My question is now I want to concentrate on DCS, what would be the best aircraft to use? BTW I own but have not flown most of them. Jeffg

Tried that no luck, uninstalled everything and deleted all files, reinstalled and still same error code 500 jeffg This appears to be a problem with the DCS program jeffg

Here is my update log for the new update, I am on the verge of uninstalling all of DCS and reinstalling and see it that works. I have seen others who have tried but everyone's systems are different. I will wait and see if the Dev's have a clue. JeffG autoupdate_log.txt

I am running DCS Open Beta and have most of the add-on aircraft and maps, but when I ran the new update appx 30 min ago and start DCS I get a error message. The message says error code 500 no active authorization's found. Than hit ok and the program asks me to bind or skip all my add-ons. How can this be fixed? Jeff Gerbert
