  1. Hi, Bankler With the new mission file, everything works as intended again on F-14B. (I cannot test F/A-18s) Thank you for your extraordinary effort!
  2. I'm using Valve Index and having a same issue (I can see huge blobs 30miles away). For me, the problem is, it is not only unrealistic and ugly, it does not make any advantage nor spotting bogies better at all since "in visual range" all objects in the sky become closer to actual size. In terms of a sense of distance in visual flight, those blobs are confusing me a lot especially when I try to catching up tankers or entering a formation from a distant location. New feature may help some people who playing with an extremely big resolution but at least for me, the new visuality enhancement is absolutely overcoocked. I have never had any complain about 2.8 visuality.
  3. You meant a wrong side of echelon? Is the left side always for a leader? If so, that was my problem. thanks for info!
  4. When I approach IL-76M's refueling basket poorly, my Su-33's refuelling probe went through a basket clearly. When I contact IL-76M very nicely and gently, a probe was connected as usual. I just need more practice for sure but I feel the collision of a basket of IL-76 is somewhat smaller than the visual model. That problem does not appear on pairs of F-14B and any tankers at least.
  5. I apologise for my post, that concern comes from what I have heard about the handling of drag in the DCS. I've heard someone says missiles in DCS might have too much drag so it might applies the flight model of Su-27 too. I have no data or deep knowledge about fluid mechanics nor aerodynamics so just posted my guess and no meant to comparing flight characteristic Su-27 and MiG-29.
  6. Not sure about IRL but the flight model of Su-27 makes me feel controlling a brick. I mean, Su-27 loses air speed so quick when I reduce fuel flow which makes easier to stay in formation comparing to other aircraft. If it's correct as it be I'm totally happy with it. On the other hand, the flight model of MiG-29 is excellent thanks to update around 2018. I understand Su-27 is much heavier than MiG-29 and totally different aircraft by any aspect but still.
  7. Thank you for giving us such a great campaign with free to F-14 owners. I beat 2 campaigns. The Operation Reforger is one of the best immersive campaign I've ever played. I'd love to see the next one as stated "to be continued???"
  8. I couldn't update latest DCS 2.7 to 2.8 because of KS-19.zip CRC mismatch. after deleting that file from the following directory "\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\CoreMods\tech\TechWeaponPack\Textures" seems solve the issue. not sure update isn't completed yet but at least progressing. That was caused by physical damage on my SSD. It's not ED's fault.
  9. Today, I played Over the hump (Strike Escort #7 mission) for a first time in a long time, in latest DCS open beta version. Nalchik airbase has a lot of objects now. taxiway has blocked by ton of containers, box and trucks. Simply I and wingmen cannot taxi to runway, wingmen explode hit by objects around. 10. Is this real? I feel so awkward and uncomfortable when I do final approach in MiG-29 everytime
  11. Considering replay won't work perfectly, I guess loading saved state cause plenty of issues in DCS. Buy DCS:Retire and DCS:Divorce modules Indeed it would be nice to having load state option but not being able to start again easily is a meaningful death in this simulator and I enjoy it.
  12. Except gunsight and propeller. Airframe itself was designed by Horikoshi Jiro. Gun sight was from German Junkers Revi 2b and ironically that propeller was designed by American company Hamilton Before WW2, Japanese industry was way behind the other great powers. In fact, Japanese couldn't mass-produce powerful engines like "Homare", that installed in Ki-84(Best Japanese fighter I guess) so most of the processes were made by craftsmen.
