  1. Hi guys, thank you very much for the kudos on this campaign (and the jackal campaign.) Between the two, there has been nearly 2,700 downloads  :pilotfly: I really did not think as many would enjoy it as much as you have, since I tried to make an acceptable balance between fun & realism, especially not being in the military and not knowing correct stuff. Currently, I have no plans to make a new campaign, but it is very tempting. I have not played DCS in quite some time. I'm looking to get back into it, and may just have to give campaign making another go. One thing that puts me off is there is so much more advance stuff you can do with scripts and the campaign could be infinitely better if I could learn it all, jackal & badger campaigns were nothing but tons of triggers, but hey they turned out alright. As with all my missions I've ever made, feel free to edit them to your own liking, just add something to the name to indicate it was changed or something like that. Just make sure you keep having fun!
  2. Select the Unit, then CTRL+C to copy, then CTRL+V to paste it. You can do this with all units. It will clone the waypoints as well.
  3. Sad, sad news. My condolences to his family and the ED team.
  4. I am seeding as well, looks great!! Thanks!!!
  5. Hi spectre, this happened to me while testing before release also. I left it as is thinking most would do gun runs or rocket runs with them so close and near buildings, but I also did not specify (i believe) in the sound file for what weapon choice. I really wasn't sure what to do, the more I think about it after your post, it seems more of an inconvenience if it happens. I will take a look at it and see if I can prevent the blue on blue. It's a scripted event where the UH60 blowsup, so regardless of your bomb going off on the ambushers, shouldn't effect it, i'll take another go at it. Thanks!!
  6. A-10C Four mission Mini-Campaign. Please reply in discussion thread for questions or comments. Download link: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/338653/ Discussion thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=103474 Ramp start, 70-100 mile flights, light payload (2xgbu38, 2xgbu12, 2xmk151) Story: You and your wingmen are on a routine mission to destroy a inactive enemy SAM system with JTAC Badgers assistance. However, Badger soon finds themselves in need of Close Air Support. You will need to know how to manually enter UTM Grid and Coordinates into your CDU. (e.g. Grid 38T, coords LP158650)
  7. This is a very good point and something that I really wanted to do. I tried a few different ways, but the issue I kept having was even if I had it to play off of VHF FM, say 30.00, you would still have to use F10 radio option to trigger it. So regardless of what radio you chose, VHF FM, UHF, VHF AM, or even simple radio of course, you could use F10 in any of those radio modes, so it didn't seem realisitic. It just didn't seem worth the hassle of trying to make sure the files played for the right player(s) in the right zone(s) on the right frequency, so I just did sound to all. There is a possibility it can be done so you must have the right radio dial on for it to work (say F10 works in VHF FM but not AM or UHF) but I am not sure on that, i'd have to do some more checking. Glad you are enjoying it bexx0r! Yeah, mission 2 is not as intense as the first one, I think mission 1 and 3 are the most intense....hope u enjoy 3!
  8. A couple issues that seemed to have started around a week ago: 1. Downloads don't register, new files are at 0, and older files don't update. I've downloaded multiple items, no changes. 2. Ratings don't stay (voting stars), I've tried voting for a few things but no changes there.. Have checked this on IE, Firefox and Chrome. There was also a issue with user file section, checking your own files: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=103931 ..... but that seems not to be an issue anymore, I can access it now...
  9. When the mission is complete, the score is 100. By default, the score will be 50 once the mission starts. Did you complete all tasking? You will get a mission complete from the JTAC Badger. For the first mission, it's the sam site, then some infantry, then some apc's. I am guessing you did not quite finish all tasking (mission success is once apc's are dead, last kill targets.) Once you are talked on with the JTAC, any target info will still be available with the F10 - Other command. There will be no need for you to manually select the missions, once a mission is complete, and you exit, the campaign will automatically put you on the next part. Just make sure you finish all tasking, or see your score at 100. At the end of each mission, a sound file and text will appear notifying you of mission success, and your score will be 100. I should maybe clarify that for those that are new to playing campaigns in the first post, I too did not understand how it worked until I played and made them.
  10. It's no problem, just the way campaigns work, they need to be all in same folder, the mission file and then the campaign file, so with that, and then the multiplayer versions, its just easier to extract the folder then to download each individual one and manually place them.
  11. As Tzeer has stated, it works, and it works well enough to justify it, I think, even for single monitors. Do not expect 80-100% scaling like high profile games though. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=99637
  12. So I went to my files section, clicked on one of them, and get page not found. So yeah, now I don't know whats going on. Used chrome.
  13. I am not quite sure what you mean by losing your aircraft data? Extract the Mods folder into your DCS World folder. You won't lose anything, if you look at the zip, the mods folder just puts the missions in the A10C campaign and multiplayer folders. It will "overwrite" the folder but not delete anything. It just simply puts the files into those folders. If you wish to do it the harder way, you could do this: 1. Open the zip file 2. Click the folders, until you reach: Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Missions\EN\Campaigns 3. Copy all contents, and past them in: DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Missions\EN\Campaigns 4. Then do the same thing, Click the folders in the zip, until you reach: Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Missions\EN\Multiplayer 5. Copy all contents, and past them in: DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\A-10C\Missions\EN\Multiplayer Basically doing it the manual way as per above, you just manually put the files into the folders instead of your .zip program automatically doing it for you. You can also use JSGME mod manager tool to install it. I am not quite sure what the issue is, please let me know if I am not explaining correctly, there should be no lost data or anything, by extracting the mods folder into your dcs world, it just simply puts the missions in the a10 campaign and multiplayer mission folders, thats all.
  14. Hi Bahger, I can access my user files/my files. One thing I have noticed is that my campaign has been stuck at 49 downloads quite a while now, I can download it and download count wont go up. That is an issue I have not yet seen before. Have you tried using a different browser?
  15. Stop condition, USER = # # is flag number So lets say you have a helicopter orbit at speed 0 so it hovers, it will stay that way until a condition is met that you specify. Say a group dies, when that group dies you have set flag 2 on. So then you would do Select your orbit under advance waypoint stop condition user = 2 this means it will stop hovering when flag 2 is on and continue to next waypoint.
  16. Thanks for positive feedback, it is now on dcs website, change download link to dcs website. time to go hibernate from mission building for a bit :pilotfly:
  17. Finally got around to playing it, enjoyed it Bahger. Very thorough briefing, tasking, assignments, etc. Voice overs worked great, help keep me on track of what to do. I know how much effort it takes for the one mission like this being thorough and appreciate it! Good work!
  18. Glad you enjoyed jackal and this  Ramp start. You can always edit the missions if you'd like, for runway start.
  19. Cheers guys. Seems bugs are minimal, so I will release it soon then on the DCS website.
  20. One card, 2 GPUs Like the GTX 690 or 7990 for example
  21. I am glad you enjoyed it and thank you for reporting the bug, a big "doh" moment.... It's fixed now. New download link is up.
  22. Glad you enjoyed the short bit you tried so far, hope you enjoy the rest!
  23. Sounds like it'll be good! Will try it in a day or two. I hear you on making a mission and taking a break. It takes so much time to make a mission, just for it to be over in an hour or so. I'm taking a small break myself now, would like to play game and other missions more than mission editor for a bit :D
