  1. Is this mod still making any difference in performance playing DCS? I’ve noticed that it has been simplified.
  2. Yes. English language for DCS and English avionics by default. It's weird since other modules like the F-18 or the Harrier use SVG fonts as well and I can see the screen text without any problem.
  3. Absolutely. 1.0 removed. For some reason the MFD and the HUD SVG font are not being loaded.
  4. My folder shapes looks the same. If I open T45_HUD_MFD_Font file It does it with Edge. I use, Windows 10 64bit OS build 19041.928
  5. This is all I've got in the AvionicsTextures folder.
  6. Ok. VR Shaders mod removed, FXO and Metashaders2 erased and same problem.
  7. I had it in Spanish but I’ve just switched to English to check it out and same issue.
  8. I’m experiencing some sort of failure in the T-45 screens. They only show this: The HUD also appears without any numbers. It only happens to me in the 1.01 version. The 1.0 looks OK. I’ve tried, erasing and reinstalling again. Making a repair in DCS 2.7. Any ideas of what can I do to solve this?
  9. Hi, using my ARIO extension I'm completely unable to make jester to switch radio frequencies. I'm using "radio tune two five six decimal zero zero zero" for example and nothing happens. Same if I use "select TAC Lincoln". TACAN tune commands work. I've check the voice commands for radio tuning and seem to be missing. It's weird since I've been using these radio voice commands in the past and they used to work. At least until the last update. Any ideas?
  10. Hi Aviodev. I've just flown with a friend of mine the DCS C-101EB on multi-crew and we've experienced some issues. - We couldn't raise the gear even after multiple attempts. We never exceeded any gear limitation. On single player ok. - The VOR didn't look to get any DME reading even though we where navigating with VORTAC's in Nevada. TACAN's worked just fine. We had DME readings. But not on the same VORTAC's. - It was a little confusing who had the power to switch radio frequencies and move CRS selectors. Any basic outlines on how to manage those NAV radios? Seems to me that only one person can select a frequency or el course and the authored meanwhile doesnt's have the chance to see what frequencies is the other guy setting. It was weird. - We also experienced some random precession in the HSI even on "Select Brújula". Is it normal? - Passing the controls to my colleague, sometimes experienced a huge lag. The accelerometer showed like an acceleration of +9G/-3G (crazy). Any advice? Muchas gracias compañero!
  11. Hi, I'm trying to refuel and rearm my Su25 in secondary airfields of the Caucasus like Kvitiri, Bandozha or Ochkhamuri. But when I ask to the ground crew, I have no response. Even if I place a fuel truck in the airfield I can't refuel. Is there any way to do it? Thanks
  12. Hi, I've noticed that the DCS L39C has the accelerometer in a weird position, very hard to read in the cockpit. Just underneath the landing gear handle. The L39C manual places it in a different position much easier to read. Next to the warning lights and easier to use for aerobatics. And checking through the internet I've seen it in the same position in real L-39C cockpits. Is there any reason why you guys have place it down there? Thanks for your good work!
  13. Question about the L-39C. I've seen in te video posted by Wags that there is a IFR hood modeled in the front canopy. Is it going to be implemented? It would be a great tool for IFR training.
  14. Same FPS drop with KGMU in the Su25
  15. Hi RazorTM. This issue is very common in the Su25T. Specially during landings with a crosswind component of more than 4 mps. The reason basically is that you can't block the nosewheel steering like in other Russian airplanes. Maybe because this is not a "hardcore" advance system modeled aircraft. :smilewink:
  16. Same problem here. Since version 1.2.12 no indications in the HUD of waypoint numbers making navigation way more difficult. :( Missing this.
  17. I'm sorry to say that it's not a bug. Russian military aircraft use the PRMG as primary instrument approach system. It's the russian ILS but it's NOT compatible with the western ILS. It works entirely in UHF frequencies, thus the frequency selector in the airplane is in "channels", like TACAN's or RSBN. Western and civilian ILS frequencies are VHF. What you can see in the mission editor in Maykop or Krasnodar Center are PRMG. The numbers that appear are the PRMG channel and the final course to set in the NPP (russian HSI). Maykop has a PRMG on channel 6 with a final course os 219 or 039, depending the runway in use. Krasnodar Center has a PRMG on channel 31. Makes sense. Both are military airbases in real life. Therefore, military russian aircraft operate there their PRMG equipment. Nevertheless, Sochi is a civilian airport in real life. It doesn't have those aircraft shelters, but in the game look fancy. As a civilian airport has an ILS with a VHF frequency of 111.10, which is the same that is used in real life. That's why a Su25 in DCS shouldn't be able to shut an ILS approach in Sochi. As in real life a Su25 shouldn't either. So in the end, the question is whether the airport that you are intending to land with the SU25 is a russian AFB equiped with PRMG or not. In earlier versions of DCS you could still have Flight Director indications in the landing mode to an airport not equipped with PRMG. It wasn't as accurate and sometimes had a weird behaviour but you still has some indications to shut an approach. I haven't tried in version 1.2.11 yet, but should be the same.
  18. I'm afraid that the most advanced short range that the Mig23 MLD con use is the R-60. Only the Mig23-98 can use the R-73. But this aircraft is the latest update of the Mig23 ML and I don't think that is disclasified yet.
  19. The old USSR air force used this tactic to refuel and rearm the fighters of their frontal aviation during the cold war. This enhanced the limited range of their airplanes and allowed to refuel and rearm very close to the frontal line and away from the vulnerable air bases. Rearming sites based on roads could be hidden from the enemy and easily moved if necessary. This also explains why the USSR frontal aviation fighters didn't have inflight refueling capabilities. They just didn't need it. Here there is a demonstration video of how they worked in such operations. It's in russian though. In the present time, there are still air forces that use this tactic. If we could employ this strategy in DCS World with russian airplanes like the Su25T or the present Mig21, we would have a new world of possibilities for this great simulator. In my virtual squadron have made some trials landing on roads and it's perfectly possible. Nevertheless, it's imposible to refuel or rearm at the present time. We even tried to employ a helicopter FARP but doesn't work with airplanes. My request is, if you could made those FARP structures compatible with airplanes, so we could employ them to refuel and rearm close to the battle front. That would enhance the DCS Word simulation. Thanks.
  20. Well, I think ED should do an statement of what really happened to the community. Specially for those who were following the Virtual Patriots projects since two years ago, expecting their product and who "don't know whole picture of what happened here". That would solve some potential misunderstandings. Don't you think?
  21. It's what all DCS costumers have read about it so far. What I'm wondering is what potential new developers might be thinking about investing their time and money after this.
  22. I think, that the statement that "Virtual Patriots" say in his webpage is self explanatory: "Although the development progress was significant and our personal investment into the product over the past 28 months was very high, Eagle Dynamics' unexpected announcement for the imminent release of their own L-39 simulation under the DCS name has made our 3rd Party Licensed product redundant and additionally, unmarketable." http://www.dcs-l39.com
