  1. It seems this issue resurfaced in 2023. Attached track and screenshots, this issue is violent enough to sheer off the wing tanks frequently, though I was not able to replicate it in this quick test. ratotest.trk
  2. Both me and my wing-mate noticed that the ATGM sight closes it's metal plate cover before the glass one, causing the glass shield to phase through the metal outer plating. Does not appear to cause any functionality issues, just a simple animation bug. Example here: https://gfycat.com/carelesstastylhasaapso
  3. After asking some people who know more then me, you are indeed correct so I take that back. It just involves editing the config file for the model viewer which wasn't immediately obvious to me (and I did try to find a way at the time.) I was looking in the actual program for a "look here" button of sorts.
  4. Correct me if I'm wrong. But if you are making a skin you need to have the skin files in the specific mods/coremods/bazar/whatever folder in order for the model viewer to recognize it. So as things are right now, you would have to add the skin to that proper folder every time you work on it, then remove it when you are done so that you don't break IC. Not a massive deal per-say but tedious to be sure.
  5. Same for the F-5 RWR Fix and the MiG-21 (I imagine, since sound mods seem to have been broken in general) Both fixes for old/persistent bugs and inaccuracies.
  6. This is normal server Desync. It's been particularly bad since 2.7 and it's worse on some weapons then others but it's a core DCS issue that happens with every module.
  7. Tried just about everything I can think of and I just cant get this thing to reset to zero, anyone know of a way? FCS reset button doesn't work at all as far as I can find and I couldn't find anything in the DATA/FCS mfd pages.
  8. Select High Quality on the gfycat player, should be plenty clear then. SD is a Pixelated mess.
  9. Video of me reproducing this bug: https://gfycat.com/greedyforthrightindiancow Kinda defeats the purpose a little imo.
  10. Examples: Be sure to switch to HQ and full screen as some of it can be more subtle just on video then in person. Clouds wobbling up and down just from moving head up and down: https://gfycat.com/raggedimpressiveflyinglemur Clouds distorting and jittering from small pitch adjustments: https://gfycat.com/soggychubbychinesecrocodilelizard Clouds rippling/boiling up and down just from looking up and down: https://gfycat.com/tepidfrigiddanishswedishfarmdog Clouds distorting/bubbling/rippling just from gently turning: https://gfycat.com/scaredelementarycoelacanth Same thing: https://gfycat.com/tatteredblushinginchworm Graphics settings attached, no graphics mods in use ect ect ect.
  11. This does seem like it will degrade future bug reports, and prevent user made fixes from sanity checking their own modeling. I look at things like this in the stock DCS weapons modeling: https://gfycat.com/genuinerealisticblacklab Where a 2,000lb bomb with 900-1000lb of explosive material only destroys the object it directly impacts and its just to obviously wrong (it didn't even scratch the AA truck 6 feet away across the street!). If its going to be made even harder for users/servers to generate their own fixes around this poor modeling then it absolutely needs to be fixed in base game DCS, for the sake of everyone. The data on MK-XX bomb series is very publicly available (hell it was linked above) and provides the base warhead for like 50%+ of the A/G weapons in game, that would be a good place to start.
  12. Same issue. @BIGNEWY this is especially bad. Tacview-20210414-102840-DCS.txt.acmi bvrinstantdefendtest.trk
  13. You do not need to be in point track to launch an IAM at your desired target. Just enter area track and pan over your target, confirm the coordinates on the Tpod against the ones shown on the IAM subscreen (normally on the lower part of the right mfd by default) and release.
  14. This really sounds like the behavior I see when the pilot is to hot/cold. The major visual cue is that the stick will shake/tremble. If the pilot is to cold you can hear faint teeth chattering as well.
