Oh and when you land for the demo team they run in deploy explosives the come directly back before you take off. If you fly out of that zone then back in after they have been deployed, the factory will blow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I'll do missions here and there but a campaign will be hard right now with work. Check out my other one Assassination. P.s. I have only had time to fly it once and crashed at the camp when trying to accomplish what was asked of me. To me it is fun and challenging. I liked that I had to do some flying in terrible weather conditions and IFR. Reminds me of stories of the Night Stalkers special operations squadron. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hmm the only thing I can think of is that somehow the tanks that attacking from the west hit the factory. On my system they never hot the factory and I kept their firing zone clear of it. I'm out of town until tomorrow but I'll check the triggered flag sequence to in sure that you can't prematurely blow it up. The only other thing I noticed after uploading it is that I left a test f10 radio option for flag 8 and can't remember what it was for. So don't use the f10 other radio menu. These elites purchased military equipment from Russian sources and took over entire cities where they would be able to conduct their business unopposed. Among these men stood Jaraad Elquib, a brilliant man but evil to his core. In 2025 the U.S. began rebuilding some government institutions as well as the C.I.A. who you have worked for since the beginning. You have been posing as a private pilot of a civilian model Uh-1h equipped with countermeasures for the past 2 years working directly for Jaraad and have earned his trust. The trust you built with him has allowed you to bring in your own team that is with him this morning. Today you and your team will take him out. The United States Army is still in its infancy and doesn’t have much in the way of air support, none to speak of in this Area of Operations, but does have its fair share of infantry and armored units. They are also currently moving in on Jaraad in Mohave Valley, the second in command currently stationed at Laughlin Airport and the chemical weapons factory in Laughlin. Jaraad’s plan is to flee due to pressure from the Army. This mission is too critical to leave to the Army and we can’t afford to allow them to siege the factory. They can’t be fully trusted yet with such dangerous assets so the factory must be destroyed. The Army is unaware of our involvement so keep in mind you will be a target of theirs as well. I see what you're saying I believe. So it shouldn't trigger the flag by running the script at the start of the mission because it's not looking to whether you are landed but the actual event of landing. I'm getting an error message: Also if we ran the script at start we would already be landed and the flag would become true. Alternatively we could run the script when in a zone but I'm still getting the error. -

I just plugged that code into zerobrane and didn't get any syntax errors but how could we use that to trigger something or set a flag? If I just "do script file" I don't see where this causes any conditions we could use in the ME. It's my understanding that using a script as a condition doesn't work properly. Am I just not seeing something here? -

Thanks for posting this. I have used Mist a little bit and do want to learn some more lua scripting so this will be helpful to me in future mission builds. I simplifies it for sure. -

The way I do it for the Huey using only mission triggers, and it works pretty well for me but is somewhat complex, is as follows (this is all for one action): 1. Type: Switched Condition Conditions: Unit Inside Zone, Units Speed Lower Than (1 kts), Units Vertical Speed In Limits (Minimum -.01, Maximum .01) Action: Flag On (x) 2. Type: Switched Condition Conditions: Units Speed Higher Than (0 knots) [or] Unit's Vertical Speed In Limits ( Minimum .02, Maximum 10) [or] Unit's Vertical Speed In Limits (Minimum -10, Maximum -.02) Action: Flag Off (x) 3. Type: Once Conditions: Time Since Flag (x) 5 seconds Action: What you want to have happen The reason I do it this way is because if you have a large landing zone with different ground elevations it makes it difficult to do the other way. Or if you're landing on a rooftop. To sustain a hover that still is difficult and usually if you meet those conditions for 5 seconds you have landed. For the Gazelle there is a condition Type ; X: Cockpit Param Equal To Param ; IS_LANDED (type this in) Value ; 1 -

VOR, Declination Ajustment I haven't tested but it should vary depending on where you are on the map mostly east and west. Also I'm not sure if it is modeled but magnetic declination slowly changes from year to year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maybe they'll let yours in but it does say "Until the 27th" Hopefully they'll let you submit it. I tried to do one myself but with my work schedule I couldn't complete it in time. I'm also rebuilding it for the third time from scratch because of some gameplay breaking design flaws. I'm just finishing for fun now and for the community to enjoy. Thank you for the detailed post and insight. I have found that in a light huey you can be at more or less nuetral pedal in forward straight and level flight and the ball be centered because it takes so little collective to maintain. But as you load her up with fuel or weapons or fly at higher altitude or even high airspeeds and increase collective to maintain that configuration, it needs left pedal to keep the ball centered.
