I can confirm this is still a problem. I have been away from DCS for a year or so but bought a Reverb G2 and started flying again. After dialing in my settings it was running really smooth and I was happy ! I also started with IL-2 but when I returned to DCS after two weeks I had a 25 FPS drop and bizar CPU frame times. It took me 3 hours before I thought about this script problem that I had a year before.... I renamed my scripts folder and everything was smooth again. Reason ? I bought the take off and combat panels so I had to run SimAppPro again and that messed up my frame times. Really stupid, I am running a 12900K and CPU utilisation is around 10% but the CPU frame times are through the roof. Something with a Donkey and a stone....

is there anyone that can explain to me how this works ? What does it do when you load settings form the cloud ? How can I see what settings it are (in DCS only ?) I have read anything I could find and watched every YT video about this, I think I must be stupid..... I really hope somebody can help. (and please do not tell me you have to map it in DCS, I know how that works, this is about SimpAppPro)

@DudikoffThat is indeed exactly what I mean. I do not understand were all the negative comments come from, it seems people did not truly read my post.... I have to say I love my new setup from a hardware point of view. This is a huge step better thank the Thrustmaster Warthog in my opinion.

@Mr_sukebe did you even read my post ? I said I can assign buttons in DCS but anymore advanced configuration is impossible. I understand I can use other software tools to do what I want (joystick gremlin for example). The reason I mention Winwing is because this is a Winwing issue. Is it stupid to expect a manual for 1000 euro kit ?

So I bought both the Taurus and the Libra. I do play Start Wars Squadrons with friends so I started with that. As SWS has a bug where you can not assign a button to drift I wanted to assign a keyboard key to one of the buttons on my WinWing. I did not succeed. I have 25 year experience in IT (both systems as programming) but I have not been able to assign a key to a button on a joystick that costed me 1000 Euro !!!! I have searched but I cannot find anything online, there is no documentation for the simapppro at all. Even the functionality for DCS I do not understand. Yes I can bind all buttons in DCS itself which is fine but what does the cloud download do ? How can I make a macro or assign a keyboard key to a button ? This seems like basic functionality to me. People complain about Thrustmaster Target software but I had no problem at all using it just by playing with it for 10 minutes. I hope somebody can help otherwise I regret buying Winwing.

ok thanks, I think I did not make clear enough what I am looking for. I am looking for a graphical representation of the joystick so I can fill in the function I assigned. With my current thrustmaster setup I look a lot at the picture with all functions assigned to the buttons so I know what is what.

Hi all, I am thinking of buying a winwing (super taurus & super libra) so I am trying to find a layout picture but I have no luck up till now. I did find settings file but none include a picture of the assigned functions. I really need this (I am fairly new to DCS) to learn what everything does. Suggestions ? Thanks, J

I Have a setup with 2 bass shakers, but only 1 is under my seat, the other is under my pedals. The manual states the default is 2 shakers under the seat, so how do I adjust this to my setup ? Thanks in advance, Joost
