Further to the OP I think the ability to give George priority targets would be great. Playing on the Rotorheads server I constantly get smashed by Mi-28's even when I know they are there and I'm actively looking for them. I can't get George to find them in the massive list of potential targets and even if I do it's usually at the bottom. So a way to command him similar to how we can assign priority targets to wingmen would be good, could be either keyboard command or via the radio menu system

Welfare check on Chuck. It's been over a month since he posted in this topic, now of course life may just be very busy. Hoping someone knows him personally and can just confirm he is okay and just busy at the moment.

Just experienced this for the first time. Flying in close to enemy infantry to mop them up with the chain gun and rockets I was outbound and killed by small arms fire through the canopy. It was definitely small arms fire as the infantry were the only units there.

My page file was set to automatic running on a spare SSD. I have changed it to 32GB fixed size and it's working fine again. I can fly on Syria with the Apache. Easy fix, thanks all.

I have the exact same issue, just with the Apache and just on the Syria map. Seems to be memory related. I have 32GB RAM in my system. Just posting to advise the others are not alone in this issue.

Thanks Kate and all the ED staff. I'm disappointed but that's expected as I was hoping to use the Super Carrier the day after my 48th birthday. But not to worry I previously worked at BISIM so understand the frustration you all must feel with these bugs being found so late in the build cycle. Hey Max, Thank you so much for your response and for taking the time to write such a detailed reply. I eventually found someone in this thread with a similar issue and Hollywood suggested making sure both VA and MSSR were set to the same language. They were both set to English UK (closest to AUS) but I thought okay I'll set them both to US. Lo and behold it works again, though it doesn't recognise a lot more phrases. I'll either work through what it has trouble picking up and add them all manually or I'll try to switch back to UK which better picks up my speech. Cheers, Troy

Hi Hollywood and fellow simmers, Firstly thank you so much for your wonderful software, it is absolutely awesome and for the price you charge so cheap. I bought it only yesterday. Now to be an idiot, I had it working yesterday and had issues with it not recognising the words ATC or JTAC. I tried to manually train it but stupid MS Speech Recognition was being a dick. Anyway after that everything went wrong. So I was able to do the training and could see VoiceAttack responding with the correct word. After doing all of that the first time now it looks like the MS Speech Recognizer is not loading the keyword list, it says Offline keyword training initialized and when I say a word from the list it either pops up with a select word dialog or is typing the word I say. Please help, I've lost all my hair from trying to work this out. I've been looking and searching for hours and have finally conceded I need assistance. I've looked at settings for the Speech Recognition, tried uninstalling Viacom and VA multiple times. Nothing I try works. Many thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

You obviously have a crap computer then, don't blame ED for that. I run VR just fine on my PC with no 30% performance loss that you claim. Do you have evidence to support this made up number? And for the rest of you whinging idiots, get a life! It's a joke for one damn day. Go outside and take a deep breath if it bothers you that much. I've fixed up the Bushmaster again and have re-uploaded it. Jaster already has a link and it should be back on the User Files shortly. Can anyone tell me though if they are having any issues with the UH-1H skins? My Civilian Air T&G just doesn't look right, the nose art looks crap whereas it never use to. I've checked all the files, compared to other peoples skins and description.lua files and cannot see anything obvious. Also downloaded the recent Nevada Department of Forestry skin and it's art looks the same. Just curious if it's just me or is it an issue?

So for the past few weeks I've been trying on and off to upload some new skins to the ED site. Says it's uploading and finishes but when I close the dialog box and check the my files section they aren't there. Normally they will show there as awaiting approval but nothing at all. I tried to update one of my existing skins and it wouldn't let me either. Tried two different PC's and different web browsers so that's not the issue either. Any ideas? Anyone else having issues? I've got an update to my RAAF 30th Anniversary F/A-18C skin, an RAAF skin for the KC-130 and a new Dark Grey 77Sqn skin that was a request.

Very disappointed as it meant no flying on the weekend. Alas no point crying and saying horrible things, Eagle Dynamics knows they've stuffed it for a lot of people. I'm just waiting on the hotfix which is supposed to be today. But then my Monday is Australian time so I gather it will be my Tuesday before we see said hotfix.

It's 2220 here on the 30th and I really need to go to bed, will someone call me when it releases so I can wake up? :)

Yeah I get that :) Thanks for dropping the tone back Flagrum, I wasn't being ungrateful. It's just frustrating having $44 credit in an account that I can't use and most likely will never get to use. Especially as I want to pick both of those up now but having just broken my wife's new 4WD on the sand dunes I will get killed if I spent any money. I think it is a perception issue in that I see money there and think why can't I use the bonus as I see fit, maybe a points system would have been better. Heck even saying that 1 point is 1 dollar but you can only use x number per purchase. Even with the pre-purchases from partners I'd like to be able to use it there, if it represents money that is. Just wishful thinking I don't expect ED to change the system. I'm just frustrated and wanting to pick them up :)

It's a reward system not a gift and complaint was probably the wrong word to use. But do you not see that we will never use the bonus given when only able to use such a small portion? I'd rather they just don't give us as much of a bonus as it serves no point. Feel free to attack me for having an opinion. As I said in my post I love the idea and I thank ED. $3 reduction from $60, you should learn math!
