  1. Any general consensus which are best? I search and found a few that looked good and will test. I could’ve sworn I saw someone on YouTube who’s screennsne started with H that looked good but couldn’t find them
  2. I'm at the same point you are wondering same. I imagine you can search by name or filter to locate. My question is do both my friend plane and mine have to be listed as "client" or just his and my stays as "player"?
  3. I currently run stable. I soon will be going multiplayer and wing mates all on OB. I have room to run both on SSD. A) Should I? B) if I do, do I need to reinstall all my aircraft from stable again. C) Will the missions I’ve created on stable still be available on OB D) shoukd I just delete stable and do fresh install of OB? E) if running both wil keybinds/assignments transfer or will I have to redo in OB?
  4. Thanks. I knew Caucasus ok it was more Nevada than anything.
  5. I watched many many videos of improved claims and settings. Most all say to use oculus tray tool. Then they tweak settings in dcs OR tray tool. I have found recently that tweaking BOTH has significant improvement fir me. I boosted pixel density in tray tool to 1.4. Then in dcs boosted it to 1.3. I expected severe lag or jitter etc but it was extremely “fast” and smooth. Way better than just boosting to 1.4 in dcs which was almost unplayable. The cockpit displays are CRYSTAL clear and no longer have to zoom to read them. Honestly I was shocked. The only thing I’ve left to tweak is anti aliasing. While everything now looks the best I have seen with fast responsive playability I still have distant white line shimmers from time to time. It’s a tough thing and lots of trial and error. Even if you have two identical systems they don’t always seem to work the same with same settings. Which is why I’m not listing mine. Most tutorials I’ve seen since 2.7 release with regard to vr settings have been the best fir a baseline to start and I experimented from there. Good luck but once you dial in yours you’ll be mesmerized.
  6. Just wondering where some of the best and tightest canyon runs might be located in either Cauases, Nevada, Persian gulf or Syria. I know you can find Star Wars canyon in Nevada but have heard it’s not all that great cause it’s far out and not super detailed.
  7. And I’m just stoked I just made my first successful carrier landing. Third attempt. And it was dark. Couldn’t even do it on tutorials lol
  8. Just wondering if there are any good tutorials about this part of mission editor. I’ve seen the “perform aerobatics” command when in the editor and whije I’ve seen some videos displaying results of AI aerobatics I’ve yet to find anything, even on internet in print, talking about the aerobatics creation. Any links?
  9. I know it’s an odd request. I only have hotspot internet access and while it’s decent speed it caps at 25gb then gets super slow. I want to attempt multiplayer but when I open dcs in online mode it starts auto updating which kills my hotspot. Is it possible to login WITHOUT updating?
  10. I’ll have to check it but it’s whatever version was available two weeks ago when I installed 2.7
  11. The latest. 2.7. I updated to it then purchased and installed Syria The odd part is in mission editor or f10 map you only see Cyprus on the legit “map” but not in “alt” or “sat” version. I flew over where Cyprus is but nothin but ocean
  12. I’ve seen the videos showing Cyprus in the Syria map but Cyprus does not show up on mine. It can only be seen on one of the moss and not in mission editor. I fly over it but literally nothing is there even tho it’s supposed to be. Just wondering why
  13. I do have deadzone set but maybe it needs to be larger. happens on any runway, airpfield, wind condition and even on taxiing. I'm gonna dive back in to the rudder pedals..its gotta be something in there
  14. So i've noticed on take off or taxiing the plane will pull to the right gently so I have to cheat on the left pedal to keep on centerline. As speed increases it evens out then as more acceleration towards rotate speed it will pull left. I thought i had miscalibrated rudder pedals, but I've reset set those a few times and they are calibrated. I wanted to know if this is an actual characteristic of the the real hornet or just a quirk in the game. I noticed its extremely consistent and manageable. If its real, I'm curious as to what causes it? I can only assume it as something to do with airflow over the rudder changing the effect at speed as I noticed that during taxi the rudder actuallylooks like its resting at hard right orientation. Any thoughts are welcomed
  15. Thats what I read in an old Reddit thread.. I just don't remember clicking it when I first starting playing on 2.5 in January so thats good!! Hopefuly I get on tonight and give it a whirl
