Thank you very much for the reply Vebora, it is greatly appreciated to hear from you on the matters. please dont forget the fuel weight glitch

fixed Sidewinders on Tip Stations placed too far aft
Get_Lo replied to Bremspropeller's topic in Bugs and Problems
Not to mention how many AIM-9 rails there are. Most sidewinders arent even compatible with eachother, nonetheless a Magic -
My advice is just discard everything SUBS says. I really have no idea where he gets all his sources and I really would like to know, sounds like a fun place. never have I seen him source anything
-
I like the new engine power and STR, feels good when isolated from the issues we are having right now
-
Ive had it happen as low as 4G, usually when its the first time I pull G in a flight, afterwards I can go up to the normal G amounts without blacking out. on a few occasions the blackout has been permanent eve when flying at 1-2G the pilot wont wake back up. Its hard to get a track for because its inconsistent and I cant quite figure out whats happening. once you trigger the bug you're pretty much guaranteed to G lock from my experience, even if you release pressure from the stick.
-
I hope they can sneak a fix for the refueling glitch in with the next FM update, that glitch really ruins the F1 aswell, having to reslot after every mission because my jet now weighs 3.5 tons less and flies like an F-16A.
-
I hope they meant the pitch too, feels like im hitting speed bumps when im trying to use the stick. Also from someone who previously flew with the Yaw Damper turned OFF almost exclusively, there is more to it than the yaw dampener just "not working" the whole jet feels different. if it was just the dampener not turning on than the way I fly shouldnt have been effected too much but yet it has, massive stability problems in the Yaw axis. (still not as bad as the pitch though)
-
new record, can we do 900 next?
-
happening to me ALOT too, random blackouts at far too low of a threshold. feels like someone forgot their G suit
-
I have also noticed the wobbly rudder you mentioned, nose/rudder pedals try to defect to the Soviets every time I roll the jet. Whats just as bad if not worse is this pitch, it has a mind of its own too!
-
Ill rather take my sources over your speculation, thank you Seems to be another case of our F1s being different, here is 845 no problem null
-
perhaps, I wouldnt know anything about it other than whats published.
-
Thrust only gets you so far, look at the MiG-25's top speed at sea level, iirc its barely or not even Mach 1, Another example is the J79 F-16 which was just as fast as the normal F-16A
-
1300kph(700knots) is the safe operational speed. appears to be 1470 is the drag limit. which funny enough is 794 knots. the exact same as my source earlier.
-
How about you just read the post above, im not interested in speculation that would undermine the modelling of every aircraft's top speeds and G limits, after all, the F-15 can theoretically pull 30Gs right?
-
I also have no evidence it cant go over Mach 2 at sea level, or mach 5. You're right
-
This whole conversation was funny but a waste of time, grand total of evidence that the F1 can do over Mach 1.35 at sea level: 0 Ill just wait until the devs patch it
-
1. We all know exactly how fast the RB 104 went 2. There is no F-104 in the world that matches those same specs, its custom not "stock" 3. Guess Greenamyer and NASA wasted their time building that very custom F-104, shoulda just borrowed an F1 and as for the speed of the F1, we have F1 pilots in these forums, how about you ask one of them. Might just be me but im not buying the "This other totally different plane could do it so our F1 should be able to aswell"
-
RB 104 is one of the very few F-104As with that version of the J79 on the planet. I would classify that as an "engine change" But again, this has nothing to do with our F1. how about the fact it can fly at 1200knots at sea level for short amounts of time? Is there also "no evidence" it cant do that?
-
we arent debating how fast it went, he said "stock" and thats all I disproved. but yet im still failing to see how this F-104's world record speed proves our F1 can go just as fast
-
Stock? "A stock F-104 weighted 15,000 pounds empty; Greenamyer's weighted only 11,500. Armament was out and also the speed brakes, drag chute, boundary-layer-control system and the leading-edge device actuators. It received the G-model's antiskid system and brakes. Including some compensation weight inside the nose the total weight became 11,800 pound." even if it was stock, thats an F-104, built for speed and speed only. not Mirage F1 fighter-bomber. next you're going to tell me theres "no evidence" the F-15 cant do mach 6 at sea level or something equally stupid
-
Perhaps you have any proof at all that it can go faster than the world's fastest jet at low level then?
-
but yet we have "no evidence" that the F1 cant go faster, lol
-
you cant just compare the F1 to the jet that quite literally is the worlds fastest plane at sea level.
-
Do you have any source at all that says it can accelerate to and maintain 870 knots at sea level? the highest ive EVER seen listed is 794.
