  1. Saw your work on the CF-104, just to let you know that our museum Montreal Aviation Museum as now acquired aircraft 704.   Would like to get in touch with you. If you could email us at info@mam.quebec, were trying to get as much info on the markings to be able to put it back to its RCAF days Thanks

Hi, and thanks for contacting me. I’m always interested in anything to do with Canadian aviation history and Starfighters are always exciting!

I must tell you that I am not in any way an expert on CF-104 finish and markings, I’m just a guy who enjoys making paint schemes for flight simulation software, but I’d like to help as much as I can.

I’m going to get a couple of contacts for you that know more than I do 😉

The first guy you need to contact is Steve Pajot from the Canadian Starfighter Museum. They have restored aircraft #703 to look exactly as it did in 1966. The aircraft is the most accurate restoration of a CF-104 in the country, including not only period nationality markings but also all maintenance and servicing stencils. Also, they had the original RCAF paint colours custom mixed for the wings and tail.

You can contact Steve via the Canadian Starfighter Museum website:

      Cheers!
