Absolutely yes, it flies with precision for low flight enjoyment while not throwing you into the ground if you over control it, unless you're really trying hard of course. You can get it out of shape, but it allows you more latitude to learn better control, which is its training role after all.

You have to configure a smoke pod on the weapons tab to your aircraft, there’s a choice of colours too.

I think I created my own problem as I use a rocker switch for braking as my pedal brake axis doesn't work one side. On other aircraft it works fine using one rocker direction to brake and the other to set park, but in this case the brake is off in mid rocker position and so the park mode doesn't engage.

Thanks, but it didn't work until I also used the WHEEL BRAKE INCREASE command to maximum load before engaging the lock.

Well partially got it to work by using WHEEL BRAKE INCREASE command to maximum and then WHEEL BRAKE LOCK which moves the lock lever over, but immediately releases again. At least I can continue through the tutorial though.

How do you set Parking Brake, the landing tutorial asks for it, but I can't find any mapping and the mouse input doesn't work, so I cannot continue the tutorial?

Same issue, have removed all mods and run repair and only get a successful launch on rare occasions.

in this video, the not too dissimilar F-16 wing missile set up bounces round pretty good. The F-5 simulation seems entirely reasonable.

True, but does not prevent the instructor ejecting following the student ejection which unfortunately this model does.
