  1. @Torattacker No you use it standalone. But you need MOOSE.lua to run it, which you can download here https://github.com/FlightControl-Master/MOOSE_INCLUDE/tree/develop/Moose_Include_Static Then, go into the mission editor and make some mission triggers like described below: 1. >Trigger 1. Mission Start > Do Script File > "Moose.lua" (needs to be the newest version of moose) 2. >Trigger 2. Mission Start > Do Script File > "DynamicCrewChief.lua" 3. In ME, make 1 late activated group, select M92_Personell_salute and change the gorup name exactly to "Crewchief". Keep an eye out on my OP since i will update my script soon as it gets cleaned up and fixed MP funcionality.
  2. That's what it should do. It should start saluting when your velocity is above 1 knots and if you are within 15 meters of your parking spot like in my demo. Are you experiencing something else?
  3. @Massun92 Is it possible to include this dude into the groups and let him raise his hands on alarm state red? I can script the reaction on distance with moose. Cheers!
  4. And for good measure here are the variables you can change if you want to alter the position of the crewchief. nullnull
  5. UPDATED last 5/4/23 16:30 *added filter to check for client countryID and spawn the crewchief with that country so blue players get a blue crew chief and red players get a red crew chief. *cleaned up the script with the help of the MOOSE guys. -- *added extra check so that the crew chief does not spawn if you spawn on a ship. *added option for crew chief to spawn with random liveries. If you don't want this comment out line 25 and 32. *changed the position of the crew chief to be compatible with Caucasus and NTTR shelters so that he does not spawn on the roof. MULTIPLAYER: Multiplayer usage of the script is tested and works. Hey guys! I thought some of you might like this. I wrote a small script to use with the asset pack crewchief which will automatically spawn a crewchief related to your player/client aircraft and automatically salute when you leave the ramp or come back and he will despawn if you go out of your aircraft. You don't need to make any more triggers or flags. The script will take care of all of it. If you want to use this with a helicopter simply change line 1 from: FilterCategories("plane") to FilterCategories("plane", "helicopter") How to use the script: 1. Mission Start > Do Script File > Moose.lua (needs to be the newest version of moose) 2. Mission Start > Do Script File > DynamicCrewChiefV1.2Public.lua 3. In ME, make 1 late activated group, select M92_Personell_salute and change the gorup name exactly to "Crewchief". Here's a small video demo and the script is attached. This should work in Multiplayer too but i have not tested it yet. This is the very first working itteration, if you know lua you can change the position and heading of the crewchief. If you spawn in a shelter the guy will be on the roof, there is nothing i can do about that. I'm planning to script the parking guy next to appear when you leave the airfield and when you come back be at your parking spot and put his hands up to brake. Cheers! DynamicCrewChiefV1.2Public.lua
  6. These problems seem fixed on my side. Not sure if it is the drivers or the MT.
  7. @The_Nephilim Okay, well thats also something in DCS that does not work well in that case. Also this problem should not be hard to replicate. This is not a hardware related issue on my side.
  8. Posting again a few months later because no reply: Feature request, i know this has ben talked about before but would it be possible to include all non-elevated revetments to ground objects as an option as well? It has been stated that "the lesser of two evils" is making all revetments static objects but if you don't need the elevation but do really want to make templates this would be the best of both worlds, no? The mod is awesome but i have to build over 25 sam sites in a campaign and with 6 out of 7 revetments being not elevated that would save me manually placing of 150 static objects.
  9. I am experiencing almost 3 times less performance when starting on Incirlik compared to any other place in DCS on whichever map. When starting in on incirlik in a hangar my FPS drops from between 50-60 to 20. I am flying in VR, specs are: DCS installed on an M.2 -- running the MT version i9 10900K 6950XT 64GB 3200 MHz HP Reverb G1 I've included a track file of a small test. Starting on a MP server in an F-14 on the supercarrier i still get like 50 fps. Switching to an F-16 on incirlik it drops like a brick. Starting anywhere else on the syria map still gives me high fps. 4YA_SYR_PVE-INC_v75_[01_MAR_SCT]-20230324-165722.trk
  10. @IthronwiseI have been having this problem all along on 22.11.2. If you look back on this thread you can see multiple users previously have rolled back to various driver versions. Some with luck, some not. I have previously rolled back my drives to like 5 other versions all with a factory reset and uninstall of old drivers, no joy. I've tried the show model button on a liberation campaign iteration but it still crashed. I guess in that case it is due to the sheer mass of routes and other stuff in the mission that it still crashes. So i think if it works it just works if the threshold of content stays under a certain limit or so.
  11. Bump Updated AMD drivers to 23.2.2. Still have the exact same issue. This is getting annoying. I run a virtual airwing and can't even edit my own groups server missions. Is there anything coming from ED about this? I see this thread is marked as solved but it is definitely not! It's been noted before that driver rollbacks have worked for some but not for others, also when using tools like DDU and such.
  12. Yeah im also very positive it is not the actual hardware part of the GPU. The fact that its all 6000/7000 series cards and that certain old drivers fix the problem also goes to the point that it goes wrong in the software. I think if ED can find the culprit in the missions that they will be able to bandaid it.
  13. ofcourse, this aint my first rodeo Tried it all man. The problem is definitely on AMD's side and i suspect its just bad driver support. Hope this will be fixed.
  14. @Fabio.Nyr That particular driver is not compatible with my device. I've rolled back to the latest one available which is 22.5.2 and i still have flickering and CTD.
