    F-15e Update?

If it is an April fools joke, their timing is a bit off. But seriously, it is not a joke and might have a ripple effect. Everything else is just pure speculation.
  2. The current SRS 2.1.0.2 autoupdater.exe is triggering Eset NOD32 as a suspicious file.
  3. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. Type joy. cpl in the box and press Enter to open the game controller settings. Select your controller and click the Properties button. Under the Settings tab, click the Reset to Default button. Click OK.
  4. Are you interested in learning to fly, fight and maximize your abilities in Modern DCS Jets? Would you like to fly fun and challenging cooperative missions as part of a team? Do you have a willingness to learn? We take beginners and we're patient if you put in the effort. If your answers are "Yes," then give the Virtual Armed Forces a go! The Virtual Armed Forces (VAF) is looking to expand its ranks with enthusiastic and motivated virtual pilots and RIOs who enjoy cooperative missions. The VAF has five squadrons primarily supporting four active airframes and one in an inactive state: 163rd Squadron flying the A-10CII Warthog (Not currently recruiting) 111th Fighter Squadron "Ace in the Hole" flying the F-16C Viper - Recruiting Pilots VFA-131 "Wildcats" flying the F/A-18C Hornet (Not currently recruiting) VFA-136 "Knighthawks" flying the F/A-18C Hornet (Not currently recruiting) VF-142 "Ghostriders" flying the F-14A/B Tomcat (currently inactive pending more interest) 428th "Buccaneers" flying the F15-E Strike Eagle - Recruiting both Pilots and WSO's We have openings available for our F-16 and F-15E squadrons. We don't expect Chuck Yeager; we're happy with Charlie Brown. We prefer good attitudes to good sticks, because with good attitude skills can be learned. We ask only that you bring a good attitude, a willingness use tactics and cooperate as a team, and the dedication to undertake our training syllabus. In return, we will provide our own individual attention to develop your skills. Additionally, we foster a fun, friendly, and supportive environment with no formal rank structure or command hierarchy. Our membership includes a number of civil and former military aviators, and we're all here to have fun! The VAF also boasts custom individual skins created by one of the more prolific skinners in the DCS community. Our comprehensive training program teaches you basic airmanship and 2-ship formation tactics. We focus on realistic training in our Student Undergraduate Pilot Training (SUPT) program. SUPT starts out with VFR flying, landing and take-off patterns, close formation flying and then moves on to IFR, Refueling and Weapons Training. Progression is at the student's pace and flight status is based on the ability to fly safe and to adhere to some basic operational standards. We recruit in small groups to ensure that individual training needs are met and that new members have an opportunity to get to know the group. Of particular note, we are in the process of standing up the VF-142 Ghostriders. If you have ever wanted to learn the RIO position, or fly with a competent human RIO, VF-142 is for you! The RIO curriculum is being developed by a former US Naval Flight Officer, and includes A/A, A/G, and principles of situational awareness. Prospective RIOs can be confident that they are receiving excellent training, and pilots can be confident that the RIOs in VF-142 will transform their F-14 experience for the better! Finally, we wish to cross-train all F-14 aircrews on the pilot and RIO stations to the extent possible to maximize tactical flexibility. We currently operate four severs one for training and three for missions. We fly most days from 3pm Pacific until 9PM Pacific. Weekends are throughout the day on our Dynamic Campaigns unless otherwise scheduled. Come watch the VAF on the Air Combat Sim Podcast: If you are still interested, please visit https://www.virtualarmedforces.com/ Please read the VAF rules and regulations and then apply by joining our Discord at https://discord.gg/NRaZbcK9nJ.
  5. Unfortunatly, most of the groups don't have webpages due to the amount of work to create and maintain it. If you are trying to get into a group, you will need to use Discord and/or SRS for ingame comms. And if you join a discord and you dont like the group, just let them know it just isnt working out and leave the server. No one's going to give you grief about that.
  6. Hello, We have tried to reach out to you multiple times after you joined the VAF discord over the last month or so. If you are intending on following up with us, please join the VAF discord Tuesday evening (Today is not a good day due to Canadian Thanksgiving and Columbus day).

  8. I understand. Was not the uninstaller but MS doing it's great job once again. Sorry to point a finger in the direction of your project. When I did use it last, I was a great addition to my VR experience. I may try it again once I get all the VR settings dialed in again.
  9. It was probably 2022 when I last used OpenKneeboard, so that could be why there was a leftover in there. All I know is when that reg entry was existing, DCS MT would not even launch. Once I removed that entry, all is good in the world again. As for the OpenXR Tools, it probably did not matter what it said. All it had was an error and searching that error brought me to a solution. If I was smart, I would have made a screenshot or a copy of that entry. But I did not do that.
  10. The crap thing is that Openkneeboard was removed for troubleshooting. But they didnt remove their registry entry. Crap uninstallers that leave things behind.
  11. I found that registry entry and deleted it. Fixed my MT VR issue. Thanks for posting
  12. So I found out that an Openkneeboard json file in the Registry located here: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Khronos\OpenXR\1\ApiLayers\Implicit remains after you remove/uninstall Openkneeboard. Once I deleted that registry entry.. MT VR with my Quest 2 worked. found an XR_result_failure error in OpenXR tools for WMR. you will get an error when you open it, but click on OpenXR Runtime. If it shows an error, check the above mentioned registry entry.
