Will you be fixing the French Fox-1 placement? Sorry the missile name escapes me but currently they float above the wings. A few versions back when the US version had the sparrow this wasn’t an issue.

We are a strictly Cold War squadron flying the F-14A. This is a close-knit, like minded family with a love for all things Tomcat and Naval Aviation. Our main task is Fleet Air Defence and Air to Air. It is probably worth a shot. They have essentially set the gold standard in terms of mods and seem to be very serious about making it the best it can be within the limitations of what a mod can achieve. I’m just a sim enthusiast so I am not qualified to comment on realism but I felt it was very hard to handle around the boat. It made me wonder how such an aircraft could be used for carrier quals but after seeing your comments it was nice to see someone shared the opinion. This is not a complaint by any means, the A-4 mod is simply amazing.

You should contact the guys who made the A-4 on discord. I think your feed back would be appreciated and maybe they could use you as an sme.

@Beldin Is there any chance you could have a look at the parking? The aircraft are flipping nose first on parking which leaves the F-8 hanging over the side of the deck. Much appreciated!

Good day all, I suffer from a DCS crash when the F-8 is in combat as an AI unit. It only happens at the merge and when they a dumping flares. I have a feeling the counter measures may be causing the crash but I cannot confirm it. Can anyone else do a quick check to see if it’s only on my end? Apologies for hijacking the thread, not sure where else to post.

Well I tried with the description file, I can get the names to appear in game but that actual skin doesn’t. While I was messing around I noticed the B-52 has bort numbers so I’m hoping this really is just a very early beta of the S-3. ED would be mad to make it impossible to skin.

Somebody on discord got skins working for the B-52 so it should be possible for the S-3 too as long as it has the correct description file. The quality issue persists however. Some are saying it’s to do with LODs. Hopefully the new assets are just a trial run and the full version will come when the S-3 tanker comes.

They are in a folder called HeavyMetalCore. But they seem rather low res and also the layout for the S-3 seems like a pain to work with.

For your consideration, an AI tanker version of the Super Etendard. Like you made with the Rafael mod. I think it would be amazing for late Cold War missions!

A friendly person on discord managed to name all the ships in the Cruise book image so it seems mission complete. Thank you all for your help and input.

@Urbi Is there any chance you could work your magic on the Knox class frigate and Kidd class destroyer. I tried myself but I’m not used to this style of skins with everything separate. I’d happily donate some $ for your time.

Hello all, I am trying to find what ships were providing escort to CVN-69 IKE on her 88 med cruise. From my understanding, depending on which part of the cruise the escorts may have rotated but if any one could give me a rough idea that would be amazing! I have seen hints at DESRON 6, but for the composition I cant find any information. Also, I cant seem to pinpoint which Carrier Strike Group the IKE was a part of at that time (or was she in Task Group 60?) Air-wing related information is readily available but the Naval side is proving difficult for me. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction? I am working on missions for the squadron I fly with and hopefully with Admirals amazing mods we can cobble together most the carrier group. Hence the need for information.
