For those wanting to know more about these the Discord channel is the best place. The last order shipping update has him shipping orders place July 7 2021. I placed my Order July 8 2021 so have been waiting 15 months but should be getting an update soon I hope. Miles was out with Covid for a few weeks and that slowed him down. From what I see it is the device to have if you are doing VR. Worth the wait.

My F16 set finally got here yesterday after sitting in FedEx limbo for 2 weeks. Putting the throttle together took a little work to get it all adjusted correctly for smooth operation. They are now mounted on my desk and today I will be setting up the profile for them. I was here looking for a good profile so if anyone has one please share.

I got the gear working once I added the command for the cover. Also the canopy is working and you are right I was trying to open and close it at to high of speed. Works fine on the ground. I now have most of the controls I need for now and will add more as I learn what I'm missing that I need. I have a few WW2 planes and I have been setting up my Virpil controls for them and putting labels on them so I use the same button for the same options in each plane. So far it is working out well. We will see what happens when I add the F16 and A10 into the mix or a helicopter.

Ok added a button for the cover and now it works. Before I start another thread any help with the canopy? I have a button for open and close and they do not work/ Yes I am holding them and nothing happens.

I have been going through and setting up my control bindings and for some reason I cannot get the gear lever to work. I have the lever bound to Landing Gear Extending to JOY_BTN42 Landing Gear Retraction to JOY_BTN41 These buttons are triggered when I move the lever up or down. Of course G on the keyboard works. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong to make the lever work? When I move it in the control settings I see it high light the correct option. Thank you

Just wanted to update this. Virpil support was quick to get back to me and all I have to do is install the firmware again and then create a new profile and it all worked great after that.

SO I was trying to configure my new warbird grip and I have a small issue that I'm sure is me. The 4 way button down on the left side for your thumb is the issue. In the configuration tool it is set to 4W with physical buttons 7 center and 17,18,19 & 20 for the 4 sides. All these work and I see that the center 7 always triggers when I push it to any of the 4 sides. These buttons are assigned to logical buttons 14-18 and I can see these work in the configuration tool. The problem is when I go to the joystick tester I only get the center press physical 7 logical 14. None of the 4 sides work or even show up in the joytester. The button list stops at 14. Yes I created a new profile and yes I saved to the device and have closed all and restarted and still cannot get them. Any help would be great.

I would by it for him if I thought he would play more that a couple times. I will wait and then have him do the 14 day trial after I’m good enough to make it fun for him.

I have a friend who has no interest in flying but would love to be a gunner or bomber. Does he have to own a module to fly with me in the front seat or in a gunner position?

Just placed my third Virpil order. Only missing 2 grips and rudder pedals and I would have a complete set. I should be getting a good customer discount.

Ok 20 minutes after posting that I got an update from DHL and it will be here today Nov 11 so shipping only took 3 days with DHL to Idaho. I'm happy with that. Anyone thinking about getting Virpil controls should do it. They are by far the best controls I have used to date. If they were not I would not have place such a large second order and will be placing another order with Control Panel 3 comes out.

I place my second large order ($1200+) on Oct 28 and it will be here tomorrow or Monday. So 14-17 days total time. It shipped out on the 9th. No complaints from me.

Quick question, I did the pre order form back on July 8 2021 and have not heard anything yet. is this normal are they not up to July yet? ****Edit**** I see the post above says they are doing January pre orders. So I guess I have about 7 more months of waiting?

Hi, I'm new to all this. I tried to follow the thread but there is a lot of info there. I have downloaded the latest plug in but not sure how to install it. I have downloaded the A10 and F16 profiles I found but I did not see any for the P-51, P47 or FW190. I did see the Mosquito profile and got that. Would love to get these working on my StreamDeck XL.

Has anyone created a Helios profile for the P-47 yet? I have tried to search and cannot find one. Not sure I’m up to the task of doing one myself.
