Had to turn on sigs. Thanks. I'm gonna pull the trigger.
-
I don't want to be a part of that extremely small minority lol. I really do want to pull the trigger on this. All I've been reading are problems and no solutions. How long have you had yours?
-
The slider shows as a button if I'm not mistaken. Is it not registering at all?
-
I've been looking to get one but have read so many problems with the axis stop working after a while. Let us know if this happens to you.
-
This is what I didn't want to read. I was just looking at that throttle the other day and thinking about getting it. Looks like someone else was having that same issue.
-
That's what I have it at too. I may drop it down to 72 to see how it runs but I don't have any issues right now.

I use ODT. I have everything disable accept FOV which is set to auto. Adaptive GPU at default. Distortion Curvature at low. Encode Resolution at 3960. Encode Bitrate at 500 and link Sharpening enabled.
-
I also have the Q2 with a 3060ti with the pixel density set at 1.5. I'm averaging 40 fps depending on aircraft and map but doesn't drop under 35. Very smooth flight in M.T. with openxr. Graphics at high accept water and shadows. If I set it to 1.7 my fps drops to about 35 but still very smooth and very clear.

Are you already in VR when you run DCS?
-
I was just looking at one of the pictures on the site. It has 2 buttons on the side of the grip. If one of those is a 4-way hat switch it could actually be used as the target designator. Or you can try the Thrustmaster for $129 like Mistermann posted.
-
Your setup is similar to mine except I'm running a 3060ti. I'm getting smooth 45FPS in single play. I'm using Oculus tool tray and running a memory cleaner while flying that seems to help with the stuttering. What 5ephir0th posted might help you as well.

Finally consistent framerates on Quest 2

I'm not using Steam VR with Oculus. Only the Oculus tray tool with link cable. I'm getting smooth 45 fps with an i7 and 3060ti -
Are you using the Saitek software or programming within DCS? The mode switch works as key presses within DCS. When I fly the Hornet, I use it for flaps. When flying the Falcon, I use it for auto pilot.

Have the Oculus Quest 2, but not that glad with the results :(

Try turning ASW mode off. I had it on and the frame rate dropped. -
Thank You!! For some reason this line wasn't in my default.lua but I was able to add it and it works!!
-
I've scrolled up and down the default.lua but can't seem to find it. I've been looking in the joystick folder, but I'll check the keyboard folder too. Thanks
-
Is there a way to bind the Hornet Ball communication to my hotas? It's not highlighted in the control settings except for the mouse button which I don't want to use. I don't see anything for communications in the default.lua file under the joystick folder for the F18 input.

The file is located in the Mods folder. It's the default.lua in the input. I save it to my desktop and when there's an update I just copy and paste back in the folder. Each aircraft has it's own default.lua under the same name so u might want to figure out how to save them differently for each aircraft you fly. DCSWorld Openbeta/Mods/Aircraft/F18C/Input/F-18C/default.lua.

Is there a workaround for mapping the scs depress to the Gladiator? In DCS it won't give me the option to map it to a button.

Not sure if this will help but in the X55 I go to the icon in the system tray and right click it and choose clear which will clear any profile that auto loads and the mode switch is recognized in DCS as buttons. But you must do this every time before you load DCS
-
Very Nice!!!

You don't clear the system tray. You clear the default profile that automatically starts at boot up. The icon is in the system tray. Right click the icon you'll see the option to clear the profile. Then you can use the mode switch. I use it for 3 mode switch flaps when flying the Hornet.
