  1. Any updates on the rework? I have a spare android tablet itching to be a map.
  2. I would assume it's a light slowing, MSFS made pretty much any flight sim item almost impossible to get. But, it also could be efficiency, parts not being delayed as much, a better understanding of large scale fulfillment and shipping as well as not being as far behind due to Covid delays. With their collective apparently selling well (from what I see on forums/discords) I'd imagine their holding their own from a business side of things.
  3. Phantom would be my top hope
  4. A sim is a game, regardless of what anyone says. There are different levels to a game, such that a game like need for speed is easier than forza, but forza is easier than iracing or rfactor. They are all games though, just how much they strive to be realistic is different between then. DCS is a game, it will always be a game. "video game - noun" a game in which you press buttons to control and move images on a screen
  5. Doing some quick Google-Fu "I'd recommend you get a WarBRD to go with it, WH base isn't that great and " * Due to limitations of the TM Warthog base, all grip axis will respond as button inputs instead. " is listed on the bottom of the page." "The delta will not work with the warthog base. It has three additional axis after all. The t50 grip is built to warthog compatible but that is the only one that is. And not the new updated mongoose grip the older one." Seems its mostly limitations in how things register, such as the brake lever acting as a button not an axis.
  6. I got a CP2 myself, it's a bloody unit. The nice things though is knobs for trim, and a gear lever. They are easy to find and can make things a lot easier for someone who can't see as well (I don't use VR but it's pretty large so, shouldn't be hard) As for extra buttons? Who knows...can't go wrong with spreading things out though, binding buttons on it for less used functions possibly. I bought it because I figured if I'm spending 1200 already, I may as well add it on lmao.
  7. As I said earlier, mine was about a week inbetween. They won't ship anything until it's all done, I ordered about 8 items, you can see mostly what I ordered up a few posts. It shipped out pretty quick considering Placed 13 June. Confirmation later that day Charged 21 June Shipped 28 June Arrived July 7th after some customs delays
  8. I just got mine in today, and from handeling it and messing around with the buttons a bit, for the most part i hardly noticed them being a hassle to click/move... The thing is, there are sooooooooo many buttons on it, you can use forward/back/press and have enough spare buttons to cover any other toggles or binds, its absolutely insane how many options the throttle has. The throttle overall felt/looked and shipped great, if a 5-way hat is the only thing stopping your from buying it, buy it anyway...the thing is a beast and youll have more than enough to configure it to run well in Sim
  9. could always try looking around facebook market, some people offload old gaming rigs, might find one for cheaper than a used card, rip the card out and well..i guess youd have spare parts lol. Obviously, never know how it was ran, but might find something usable without spending a ton /shrug. I know the feeling though, my entire PC is in a box and all my gaming stuff is stored away as im in between moving, could be a month, could be 3-4...really blows
  10. I ordered myself a CM3 throttle, 200mm extension, Constellation grip, Mongoose base, VPC panel 2 and a few nick nacks on 13 June. Confirmation later that day Charged 21 June Shipped 28 June Awaiting Delivery, but arrived at local delivery area as of Thursday. Made it through the large hub (in IL, i think) but apperantly is now held for customs at my local hub for some reason. Seems the turn around isnt to bad right now, was about a week between steps (order, charge, ship)
  11. I have a pair of V3 crosswinds, and I absolutely love them. They come with spacers to keep them off the wall for unmounted setups and i commonly just rest my feet right on them (or i did, when they were under my desk). I an say the packing is top notch and they dispatch and get to you in almost no time; the biggest downfall is it is a limited release item, so if you dont snatch one when they are in stock you just have to wait for more to show up (it took me 3 days of waiting to catch a restock). As far as TRP pedals, they look really nice (and the reviews ive seen on them give them higher marks for internals and wiring than their warthog stick) they are simply way to expensive to make me consider them, atleast as a real option. I did look at them before buying Crosswinds, but the price is a little excessive IMO, especially when the tried and true Crosswinds are not only cheaper, but have such great reviews and have been around longer. of course, you can always try to find someone selling them and get them for cheaper than new as well.
