  1. Thanks, that actually is very helpful! I saw it the other day and will probably at least do the speaker stand. I'm torn between mounting the stick to the desk or the chair.
  2. Update, despite the delivery date quote from Fedex, I got my throttle last week and will get the finger lift kit probably today. Next up is figuring out a homemade mounting system.
  3. Ok, my misunderstanding. I ordered the finger lift kit. Cost me a little extra than buying the whole kit, but oh well. Phantom, to your question, I saw them as just another thing that I didn't really need that cost extra. I thought the non-finger lift kit still had detents built in like the Orion 1 did. Lesson learned. Thanks for the quick replies! Looks like it'll be more than a month until things get here. I'll just sit back and wait.
  4. A couple days ago, I ordered the Orion 2 Throttle base with F-18 throttle grip combo, but I opted to go without the finger lift kit. Looking at some details, I can't find any clear answer on whether or not there are any push through detents if you don't have the finger lift kit. Does the non-finger lift Orion 2 have any physical indication when you're pushing through to afterburner or idle? I would prefer not to have the finger lifts, but with how much I've spent so far, I'd rather have the finger lifts if they're the only way to get detents for the afterburner settings. Thanks! this is the link to what I purchased: https://wwsimstore.com/view/goods-details.html?id=375
  5. Has anyone seen this from Throttletek? My guess is that it's (or will be) quite expensive compared to TM or Wingwing options: GF14 Throttle - Throttletek Edit: Saw an older thread on this throttle. Seems it was very expensive and didn't hold up.
  6. I was planning if I go with the VKB stick and GF base, I may wait around to see how the VKB throttle turns out. I'm financially mandated no-rush situation...
  7. I've been trying to read up on both sticks because I'm looking to get an entire set soonish. I've been looking a lot at VKB as a system and Virpil as a system. All I'm really seeing between them is a very minimal cost difference (US here) and trading somewhat equivalent pros and cons between the two F14 sticks. Neither seems to be a clear winner.
  8. Awesome, thanks! I was just looking at my initial receipt. It may not be much, but every little bit helps and it is good metrics for VKB and Heatblur to track.
  9. Has anyone gotten the 10% discount on the VKB F-14 stick when buying the F-14 module on Steam? Does a purchase through Steam not qualify? I can't find any code or place to request one, and have not heard anything from Heatblur's customer support email yet (been about a week). Thanks for any help!
  10. Like new CH Combatstick USB, used once or twice. Box, paperwork included. $90 shipped CONUS Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Bronco X (OV-10 module). DVDs, boxes, paperwork all included. $45 shipped CONUS for both. Mods, if there are any issues with selling the software, please let me know and I'll delete.
