  1. I use a X52 pro and after downloading the vsn F-4b mod I noticed the controls on it where jittery and non-responsive. Twisting the stick to use the rudder works fine, its just the pitch and the roll axis. However when I move the stick it only moves for a split second before not being responsive. Anyways, after deleting the mod the problem persisted to my F-18 and has affected every module I have except for the F-16. I dont know if it was the mod or something im getting wrong but either way its very annoying and would appreciate any and all tips, thank you! vlc-record-2023-09-13-16h33m47s-Digital Combat Simulator Black Shark 2023.09.12 - 21.42.22.01.mp4-.mp4
  2. For those not aware of the YO-3A, its is a night reconnaissance aircraft developed from the SGS 2-32 glider. They flew very low, typically 1000ft, however its said by their pilots they would fly around 200ft undetected. None where ever shot down or even damaged by enemy fire. They where made to be silent to not alert the vietcong of there presence and are referred to as the quietest aircraft in the world. They not only gathered intelligence but also directed strikes using their 2nd gen night vision periscope and their infrared illuminator. One was even equipped with a laser target designator. After Veitnam they where used by the FBI to assist in capturing Kidnappers and extortionist, as well as the Louisiana Department of Wildlife & Fisheries to find poachers, and even NASA to listen to the sonic booms created by the SR-71. Given the stellar track record and unique mission I believe it would be a mistake to not incorporate this aircraft with the growing list of Vietnam era aircraft. It would offer something no other military sim has and would a distinct experience only this simulator could give. I also think it would make for a great co-op aircraft for multiplayer servers where you physically need to fly to gather the intelligence. 3. Johnny or John sounds like a sturdy name.
  4. Ive only had the F-18 for about 2 hours now but im pretty sure this is not supposed to happen. While the chocks are on and you give the aircraft thrust itll send the aircraft forward a few feet but then launch me back wards even while thrust is being applied. If it matters at all, my wings where up, the carrier was going about 30km but it sent be backward in the opposite direction the carrier was going. Again idk if its something i did or if that's supposed to happen.
  5. Should I get the Yak-52 for a single engine prop aircraft to train and have fun in or should I get Combined arms and wait for razbam to release their A-29?
  6. I was thinking and getting some aircraft like the C-146, C-145, and AC-208 would be cool. It would give us some more civil aircraft for those who like that and I think it would be easy to make considering you wouldn't have to make targeting pods, weapons, ecm, etc. for it. It would give us some support aircraft and there wouldn't really be any classified or hard to get information holding us back as they are (as far as I know) just commercial aircraft. I was also thinking about the EO-5C, RO-6A, U-28 Draco, C-26 Metroliner, or some sort of C-12 Huron variant but those seem to have electronic warfare capabilities with them and while I do think it would be cool to have something like that I understand the a lot of E.W. information is classified and not easy to implement in simulations. Although the C-26 deals more with optical surveillance and not so much with E.W. The Bronco II would also be cool. I heard that there was a Bronco module that was being worked on but idk if that's true or if anything came of it. I know these aircraft aren't very popular but it would still be cool to have them. Not only expand our knowledge of aviation but all the support and intelligence that goes into the final battle. I'm mainly putting this out here because I want to know what the community thinks. Should we have some support/ civilian aircraft? What about E.W. aircraft? Thank you and I hope all of you have a wonderful day. U-28 Bronco II AC-208 C-26 OR-6A EO-5C MC-12W C-146 C-145 Edit: The O-2 Spymaster would be cool.
  7. I would like to learn hot to mod and I figured the easiest way to start would be to add airports to the NTTR map. They would be great for large operations and can be very strategic areas. It would also be a good way to get into modding. So far I've mapped a total of 72 run ways (including the vanilla runways and 2 are off screen) most being small dirt ones that are used for farming but can accommodate C-17s, A-10s, C-130s, and more. I also noticed I could add Plant 42, Edwards AFB, Mojave Air an Space port, and a few more sizeable airports. I can also add more airports if necessary. I have 3 questions, is this possible, if so how/where do I start as a noob to modding, anyone wanna help me do this? Thank you for your time as well as any and all help you can give me.nullnull
  8. I removed the MB-339 mod and it worked. Thank you for all of your help, I hope you have a wonderful day.
  9. My DCS Open Beta wont open. It open the DCS logo screen, checks for updates, then promptly goes away. My normal DCS works but all my mods, liveries, and missions I've been working on are in my open beta. Is this happening for anyone else? Is there a way to fix this? Anything and everything will help. Thank you and I hope you have a great day.
