This seems to be a bug in the Mission Editor in 2.72.8165.2 Has it been fixed in 2.7.3.8494 ... or later ? (2.7.3.8494 is what the login is "offering" me to update to .... which I will do when I get a faster internet connection)

How do you enter a radio preset for the F18/C in the mission editor presets that : - is LESS than 118.0 ? - contains a decimal e.g. 113.6 ? Seems ??? the only way is to create a mssion, rename the mission file to .zip, edit the mission file, change the freq there, and replace the mission file in the zip file, renam it to miz?

Fixed. Issue was I had not selected the Carrier name in the "Units" field for the ICLS advanced waypoint. Re: Recov III in daylight.... I actually just wanted to use the ICLS in the daylight, don't really care if it's a Reco III. Daylight / clear ICLS now works fine

I just now got the "someone logged " message, after I tried to enable the "offline" mode. This is using the base install / caucasus / dcs world ver 2.7.2.8165.2

I'm running the base install / caucasus / dcs world ver 2.7.2.8165.2. I've set up a mission with the F18c and supercarrier, adding the 'advanced waypoint - commands' to set the ILS to ch 11, and the TACAN to ch 71. I set the mission to run at time 23:00 which is triggering a "recovery III" I start the mission, and set the tacan and ILS channels in the jet. I do the radio "inbound" ,,, get vectored to the stack ..... hold for the appropriate time, exit and approach the carrier at 1200 agl. I've "boxed" the TCN and ILS settings in the HSI. I'm within 10nm and have caled "see you at 10" My hud is NOT displaying the ICLS symbology. It IS displaying the TACAN symbology What am I missing ? **** Is there a way to fly a "recovery III" operation in daytime / clear weather ? Mike

At the moment I only have the base install / caucasus / dcs world ver 2.7.2.8165.2 In my settings / controls screen, there are no 'buttons' at the bottom (modifiers / add / clear default / axis assign / axis tune / fe tune / make html) I only have a "CANCEL" button on the left, and an "OK" button on the right Do I need to upgrade to 2.7.3.8494 ? (my current version 2.7.2.8165.2) ?

I'm trying to create this 'AFAC' mission : I've added the MQ-9, and have tried an F15-C and the A10C both as "ground strike" flights. Neither one is getting the "radio menu" / AFAC options, just the F5. ATC At the moment I only have the base install / caucasus / dcs world ver 2.7.2.8165.2 What kind of planes are able to contact the AFAC controller plane ? ** Note, this has nothing to do with "hind tutorials" but that is the only forum the forum software is letting me select when I try to create a new topic)
