  1. For the record, in case someone will have the same issue in the future: I was also stuck, no message to RTB after the scripted attack. F10 map looked clean, so I decided to go back to base anyway to no avail... Then came back to TGT area to double-check if I was missing some silly detail. Turns out that two of the three APCs at the road checkpoint were still alive, I thought the hinds had destroyed all of them while they actually only blew up the one at the front (not sure if it's intended). I could then finish the mission correctly (BTW I also had the MIs circling around the LZ without ever landing)
  2. I know it's an old thing and I keep fussing about it, but sling loading is still not working properly, cargoes aren't recognized by bases when dropped. I know we can transport stuff internally but what's the fun in that? Anyway, this is what happened a while after I dropped my cargo today: a baby monolith was born and then started growing
  3. Atm I'm trying to tackle mission 10 without being shot down but hadn't other problems in particular so far. Anyway I really like the missions up to this point, you had some very crazy ideas (I mean... shooting at stuff while sling loading? hovering on a moving train? why tf not!) and I hope other missions/campaigns will come in the future - the hind desperately needs them imo

Hey @Cael as I commented before the campaign has been very fun so far, but I ran into a couple of problems: - I had to skip "Patrol" because even though I completed it, the "end mission" button in the debriefing didn't work, not sure what might be the source of this problem (I'll probably try it again sometime and see how it'll go) but I thought it was worthy to point it out just in case - looks like I get stuck on Night rider; I chase the speedboat, but when it stops and then the switchover to the yacht is supposed to happen something seems to bork out. The speedboat remains there floating in the air, and the yacht seems to disappear. I also tried with labels on and they do too, so I'm relatively confident that my lousy spotting skills aren't the offenders here The "entity" seems to be still there, because I still get the message that I need to get closer, but it's just not visible (or, at least, I can't find it)
  5. Hey, sorry if I insist on the topic. I tried sling loading a few times since the last message without success. Today though, I noticed something: if you load an internal cargo you get a specific welcome message when approaching bases ("welcome back to x" + "it seems you have useful cargo etc. etc."), and then the supplies get correctly registered as delivered once landed. I suppose that the same mex should also pop up when hauling an external crate. In my case I only get the standard "welcome back to x" + wind , so it seems that the player's crate is somewhat "transparent" to the scripting gizmos and is not recognized. I wonder if others have the same problem or it is just on my end; in any case, I'm sure that the thing worked for me once or twice in the past, so I don't know what might have happened.
  6. Has anyone else found the hind a bit harder to land/manoeuver after one of the latest updates? Maybe I just got rusty after a few days off flying (it happens easily to me) but suddenly it seems I keep crashing and sliding around like an accordion more often, either due to VRS (which I think I very rarely got into before) or because I can't keep up with the controls... I dunno, it seems that in general it's a bit less stable than before, more twitchy. I'm not the best of pilots, but previously I got to a decent level with the 24, to the point I had no trouble landing 90% of the time and even found it more stable and easy to fly and land than the Mi8 once I got past the inherent differences in handling. On a side note, the absolute lack of visual feedback of incoming VRS can be really disorienting. One thing I noticed though: while I never use(d) the yaw channel, I used to keep turned on the "altitude" chan. in addition to the other two. I don't know if it was placebo or not, but it seemed to make flight much more stable. Now I read that something about AP was modified in the last patch, I'm not sure I understood what exactly, but as a result it seems that ALT gets automatically turned off every time you move the collective like in the Mi8 (where I never use it anyway)... Any thoughts? Do I need to gitgud again?

Hi, and thanks for the reply; I just made a quick test and I think that something might be off I loaded a 4000 kg crate at the nearest factory, and then brought it to Kutaisi West Army Clinic; I paid special attention to the "welcome" message, in case I missed it before and which was correctly triggered, then proceeded dropping the cargo more or less close near the clinic itself. I dont know how many seconds have to pass on average, but the crate didn't disappear even after a couple of minutes after touch down. The only time I managed to get a transport registered as "delivered" I remember it took a bit, but still in the magnitude of "a few seconds"... I'm still not sure if I'm doing something wrong or there is actually a bug, but I'll probably try again later, maybe with a lighter crate, waiting a bit more to see if anything changes For reference, this happened at about 18.30 GMT+2 (between 15/10' before the last server restart more or less), and the crate was owned by "cpt. Stronzio"
  8. Hey guys, a little question: maybe I'm missing something, but where are you supposed to drop the crates when sling loading? I tried a few times on various places (helipads, general area, right above the clinic etc.) but it did register it as delivered only once or twice at best, even when dropping on roughly the same spot. What's the rule? (I only play on caucasus if it matters) Thanks for the great server BTW!
