  1. First off, let me say Thank You for your coding efforts, they are appreciated, and a dynamic campaign is LONG overdue for DCS. I was attempting to fly a campaign and flew a pair of Strike Eagle flights, then a pair of A-10C II's, and while waiting for a 5th mission to come up, I clicked pair of Apaches on the map, which disappeared and generated this error message, which made me chuckle. "Something went terribly wrong." I intend on pressing on without the map and seeing this first campaign attempt through to whatever completion is generated. ___EDIT___ Just finished the campaign, with a win! I really like this so far, hope to see further progress!!1
  2. Bumping as a ditto to all of the above, and to add a general harumph...
  3. Cool, someone else has reported it, just piling on. Good to know the logbook gives credit, hadn't checked that yet...
  4. Mine is beyond lag, it just locks up. Nevada, A-10C, choose the loadout tab, a picture of the aircraft with the loading circle over the top, but it doesn't spin, and no icons work, so I have to alt+tab out and kill DCS with the task manager.
  5. The BABBA war by Shuto in 2017. I'll check on the stores situation tomorrow, that sounds like a good place to check... ___EDIT___ Wow, you're good! Supplies were limited, so I checked the box for unlimited, after trying to boost single munitions, and there were my stores. Thanks, I was thinking from a whole different angle...
  6. Decided to tweak a few AJS-37 missions into A-10C missions via the editor. I changed the loadout for the converted Player aircraft to one of my usual loads, and it looks just fine in the mission editor, and the mission planner before taking flight. As soon as I get in game, I check the DSMS page, and external, but the only stations loaded are the ones inboard of the gear. Requesting a ground crew load change results in the same, so I took the original mission, changed the AJS to an AI Aircraft and added the A-10C and made it the player. No change. It is like the station limitation of the Viggen somehow sets a max number from the center or something. I have tried multiple missions, and the loadout limitation permeates all I've seen. Is there a LUA with max weapons limits or some such?
  7. That's it! Even through Easy comms "enforce" was not checked, I did have it on universally. Once unchecked, start up & taxi permissions were given by the F10 menu. I was able to take off, no dings. Of course, with no Labels or map icons, I will not be flying it as campaign, but there are some very well laid out missions I'll fly with my own settings. It is just a shame I cannot same them and fly them my way in a campaign...
  8. Well, I am now trying to fly mission 5 through the editor to get my prefferred settings, and I cannot get a response to the F10 menu, request start-up. I am using the automated startup sequence, and transmitting as soon as the APU generator is on. No reply. So, if I get the "you are screwed" message like above, but fly home, ask permission to land withing 10 miles, it will credit the mission?
  9. ATC comms has been wonky for quite some time, so I don't see why it was made so integral to this campaign. Do startup and taxi through the F10 AND F5 menus? I just ran mission 3 through the mission editor so I could do externals and labels, finished the crew in the orchard, and was told that I finished all the objectives, but an ATC mis-match of some time was preventing me from getting a mission completion. Fail...
  10. Whoa, I had never seen that before. Instead of choosing an Aircraft, it shows as UI Layer, as you stated. Now I have a bunch of "Currently in Use" items for that particular keystroke, but it is mostly for aircraft I don't fly. My thanks ak12546!
  11. I had mapped "p" to use as an additional key in addition to the normal "pause/break" key, but it is no longer on the list, and thusly unchangeable. The "pause/break" key does work to pause, but I have been running the "p" key for over a decade, though I'd often update after "upgrades." I just updated the open beta to 2.7.0.5659 this morning, and have tried it in the Viggen, then the A-10C, neither has "pause/break" mapped, nor can it be mapped.
  12. In SP mode, training mission 2 crashes at the end, and you cannot see your own A/C icon on the F10 map in some training scenerios.
  13. Less than an hour, w00t! There are a couple of airframes I want to check out, and one to re-fly, Da Viggen! I might just pick it up at half price if it ticks a box or 3 for me during the shake-down....
  14. Well sir, You nailed it. PEBKAC error on my part. As I type this on the server, over on the game box, I am flying the last 80 miles home to Kutasi. Thanks for checking in!
  15. SnakeDoc, can you work your magic on Mission 15? I got to this point, thanks to your other 3 repaired missions, but cannot get anything to trigger after the troops get dropped off, and the helos headout. It's just stuck. So close to completing the campaign, and yet so far away...
  16. Finicky or broken? I’ve fired up a half dozen missions and have wiped out all mission areas to the point of having new ones respawn, but have gotten exactly bumpkis. I mean it’s some mind-numbingly complex stuff being scripted, but getting a goose egg at the end is discouraging.
  17. Quick question about debriefing, why they all zeros under attrition? I mostly fly the Hog and would like to see the number of ships, air defence and vehicles destroyed. This and the score is also zero, but details show scores. This is probably a well known DCS shortcoming that I am unaware of...
  18. An Easter Egg, cool! I had never heard of it, so used Google maps and found it in the hills west of Hawash, and bombed it! :) But they were l'il blue bombs, so there were no tourists in danger during the run...
  19. Good man, Vanguard, I'll have to give a look!
  20. You can always whip up a quick mission with your airframe of choice, and just fly around a bit...
  21. It's like a silty surface 10 feet below the water level. In the first mission I threw together I sunk a ship on the Sea of Galilee, and did an F9 view to watch it sink. It slowly slipped down and then passed the silt below the surface. Odd...
  22. Thanx, Thax, that'll come in handy!
  23. The A-10C map used to be quite usable. But since my recent return from a 2+ year hiatus, I just shut the bloody thing off. Will have to try to do the same with the Hornet once the stand-off weapons get released, hopefully at the end of the month...
  24. As a semi reformed `Hawg driver, I look forward to any and all items dealing with moving mud. Getting there and back at a much zippier pace is always appreciated, and a movable airfield is just icing on the cake!
  25. Yesh! After 14 fun-filled years in the USAF, it is good to see an Air Force livery for the Hornet. But it would be infinitely cooler if you could work one these strips on there somewhere;
