  1. You'll be waiting awhile if you want to wait for them to do it. Easier to just mod it yourself. Recheck the path you installed it under, you likely have a typo somewhere or added folders in the wrong order.
  2. Kermit are you using my skin only, or are you trying to add it to a different cockpit? I wouldn't worry about being banned, I don't think people can even tell you're using it, and it's a very common thing for people to do. Don't listen to the haters.
  3. You can add this glass to whatever cockpit to get rid of the dirt and reflections. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319657/
  4. Does anyone know a reliable way to get planes to disappear? I want to test if disabling reflections with a pure green or yellow roughtmet will fix the disappearing planes, but I've tried multiple settings in a test setting to get the plane to disappear but it won't disappear.
  5. Did you change "x" and "your name" to your individual settings? Those are both placeholders for what drive you have your saved games folder in and your windows user name. It won't get you banned, as long as you pass the IC check your good.
  6. My mod nukes all dirt and reflections on the canopy, and sight, and passes IC: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319657/ There's also lots of other mods here that also pass IC and remove less glass effects if you don't like a full nuking: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/type-is-mod/unit-is-mig-21bis/apply/
  7. Never mind, the textures were just invisible until I toggled the alpha layer.
  8. I remade my old English one from scratch and it's much better now. The textures are what they are, but the lack of definition is less noticeable if you darken the cockpit. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3318301/ I'll have a original German one available soon.
  9. It's uploaded but it usually takes them a day or two to approve it. Be careful what you wish for though, as I think I impaled it with the ugly stick. The yellow completely ruins the cockpit.
  10. I can, shouldn't be too hard to put the original text back in.
  11. I just completely redid and upgraded my old cockpit skin and made it English here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319207/ It's not exactly what you're looking for as I didn't try to do a perfect historical match, but it's very dark grey and somewhat historically colored, and may be closer to what you're looking for.
  12. Specifically with all the layers separated for easier editing like they are in the skin template files here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/texture_templates/ I know there are cockpit files available that have the image combined into one layer.
  13. This works on the mustang too, but if I open the control menus from the main menu BEFORE I enter any game then my controls load properly, but if I enter a game without opening the control menu first, then my controls don't load and I have to restart the game and remember to open the control menu first. Don't ask me why it works, but it does.
  14. The limit wouldn't only be adjusted for planned 1 on 1s. If I was asked to risk my life flying these planes I would want every option in my back pocket to pull off in a clutch moment. No one knows with 100% certainty what will happen during a sortie, and I'd like to be able to risk my chances on the balsa wood snapping if I find myself needing extra Gs, rather than have that option taken away from me. Militaries don't tend to care what the individual soldier wants though, so I could see them gimping peoples planes whether they like it or not though.
  15. I hope it's adjustable in the sim. I can imagine the doom feeling, and the rage at the ground crew, watching a bandit dive on you from behind while you're stuck at 3 Gs in a break turn.
