  1. @Admiral189 Thanks for the response. I've attached my copy of updated textures to the Mercy class. It's not perfect, but it removes that graininess I was seeing. And by no means am I implying the textures were or are bad. If it sounded that way I do apologize. What my original goal was was to take the graininess out, and then also implement the rest of the deck area that appears to be missing when I compare the models in MV2 vs. photographs. Texturing is also new to me too. I'm an engineer by day, so this is well outside my comfort, ha comfort, zone. Mercy_textures.zip
  2. @Admiral189, Sorry I am just getting around to this to respond. Yes this did solve my issue. Thank you. Along the same lines for the Mercy class, I was looking into the textures and they seem very grainy to me. Have you looked at rebuilding them? If not I've taken a stab at them and I'd be happy to share the updates I did to the texture pack. Get's rid of the graininess I see in the crosses, but it doesn't have any effects or highlights, like rust, etc.
  3. @Marroux, thank you kindly for this. I also worked on a new livery textures for them. Were you able to extract UV layers for each of the maps?
  4. @Admiral189, Love the ship mods so far. I'm using the latest copy of the USNS mercy class ships, but I am getting the following errors: 2024-03-08 01:10:35.908 ALERT Scripting (Main): loadfile: can't open 'D:\Users\XXXX\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/USNS_Mercy_Class/MercyRunwaysAndRoutes.lua' 2024-03-08 01:10:35.909 ALERT Scripting (Main): loadfile: can't open 'D:\Users\XXXX\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/USNS_Mercy_Class/ComfortRunwaysAndRoutes.lua' Looking in the pack it looks like those lua files are missing. Tried looking through the forum page, but couldn't find if there was a lua file posted somewhere.
  5. Hey @Wdigman, if you're inclined to use mods, there is a PDL mod to make the lights a little more visible. Worked very well for me to AAR at night in the 16.
  6. @Nightstorm, Great mod. Thank you for doing this. I tried running this mod the other day and I couldn't get the IDF, SUFA, HDS ones to show up on the Hornet's RWR. They just showed as <U>. Have you looked at this since the 2.9.3.51704 release?
  7. @Nightstorm, Do you have a separate Forum thread for your RWR mod? I'm having some issues getting it to work with some of the more common mods I run, Like A-4, Superbug, etc.
  8. Hi @bandit648, Does this mod need to be loaded in both a client and server for running on a dedicated server?
  9. @ouky1991, Thanks for the reply. Yes my group is using OvGME for maintaining a mod repository. I've just been used to these type of mods being placed in the root game folder instead of saved games. Thanks for the reply.
  10. @ouky1991, these are great mods. I'm just trying to confirm. Do these get installed under the saved games folder or to the root game folder?
  11. Hi Flappie. We are using some of those dark skin mods for our dedicated server and are seeing the same issue. The liveries for the carrier and LHA won't show up in Multiplayer but are visible in Singleplayer
  12. We are experiencing a similar issue on our vCSG-3 servers. Server runs, but after people disconnect the server crashes. 2023-03-26 21:54:28.173 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC130]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:28.427 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [E-3A]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:28.719 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:57.327 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [S-3B]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:57.338 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [E-3A]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:57.350 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [RC135RJ]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:54:57.369 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:55:27.332 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [S-3B]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:55:27.344 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:55:27.369 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [E-3A]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:55:57.332 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [E-2C]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:55:57.342 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:56:27.330 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [KC135MPRS]: Corrupt damage model. 2023-03-26 21:56:57.331 ERROR APP (3340): Error: Unit [EC130]: Corrupt damage model.
  13. We are experiencing the same issue on our squadron and wing servers. The liveries show up just fine in the mission editor and when we run the missions in single player mode. Something is causing the liveries to not load in the server. We've also confirmed we have the liveries loaded onto the server. DCS.log doesn't show any particular error regarding them.
  14. @MAXsenna I seem to be in the ever increasing group of people in the update loop. Do you have the latest updates you could share with us?
  15. Hello, I've currently have my saved games folder mapped to D:\users\[my username]\Saved Games\. I recently had to reset the lua code in Vaicompro for a random issue, will like below. Afterwards I noticed that instead of the extra files Vaicom needs to interface sitting on the D drive its now sitting back on C:\user\[my username]\Save Games\. Am I missing something or could there be a registry error with Vaicom? For reference I use the location tab to move the Saved Games folder over to the D drive back when I installed the OS late last year. Here is the link to the previous issue I was having:
