  1. Hello everyone, I encountered a peculiar issue during my flight yesterday and could really use some guidance. After engaging and using the FCR (Fire Control Radar), I repositioned my aircraft about 90 degrees offset from my initial position. When I checked the TSD (Tactical Situation Display), I noticed that my FCR radar cone was pointed to the right instead of directly ahead. I attempted to re-center the radar cone using the arrow keys on the FCR page, expecting to finely adjust its direction. However, I found that the radar cone would only snap to the extreme left or right positions, without allowing for any intermediate stops or precise adjustments. I’m puzzled about what step I’m missing or what I might be doing incorrectly. Has anyone experienced this before, or does anyone have advice on how to properly center the radar cone using the FCR controls? Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Edit: I was flying as a pilot with an AI CP/G
  2. Well guys, thank you all for replying on my request for help. Somewhere along the way of putting your tips in practice it’s working (again). Uninstalled HP Reverb and WMR stuff, and set some settings as suggested by Nedum. Don’t know what did the trick, but it’s back up and running again. You all saved my day, thanks a lot.
  3. Thanks for your support. No updates lately. I’ve disabled the onboard graphics card via device manager. No luck so far.
  4. Thanks for your assistance. I’ll do my best to answer your questions. Error message: No I don’t get an error message. The Crystal just switch itself off, whenever I start DCS. All LEDS out. (Battery fully charged.) —> As I type this, I realize that the VR headset doesn’t so much disconnect as it simply powers off and loses power. DCS: no SteamVR Link: yes I did all that (with described exception) First VR headset: NO, I have owned a G2 Reverb
  5. I know, it was just a way to tell that if I don't start DCS, my Crystal stays connected with the Pimax software. As soon as I start up DCS it loses its connection.
  6. Hey guys, My (very) expensive HMD keeps disconnecting, and shuts off whenever I start DCS. Sometimes it's after a minute or so, but now it disconnects whenever I start DCS. I don't use other games, but when I connect the Crystal to the Pimax software it keeps running and connecting with green LED light. All / any help more than appreciated. Specs are: Motherboard; Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER (win11 64) Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 (driver 31.0.15.3578) AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-core (driver 10.0.22621.2506) Latest firmware/software on the Pimax Crystal
  7. As far as I understand: COMMS--> select (D/L) preset --> preset edit --> modem --> retries to "0"
  8. Well done. Great immersive mission. Lots of stuff going on, it doesn’t distract at all, but gives a feeling to dive into the mayhem! Keep up the good work. Hope you continue this series.
  9. Can't get it to work with openmodmanager. Any ideas??
  10. Hey community, I've encountered an unusual problem with my MAN TRK slider settings in the AH-64. Despite having calibrated the slider in Win11, it seems to drift to the left without any manual input. I've attached a screenshot for reference. I've ensured that the slider is properly calibrated in the Windows settings, but it appears that DCS is receiving some leftward input in its control settings. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  11. So nice to see some love for this bird. Keep up the good work!
  12. Would love to see this project/issue being solved.
  13. Hey everyone, I've been experiencing some communication issues in DCS 2.9 OpenBeta recently and could use some assistance. I have "easy comms" turned off, and I've ensured that my radio keybinding is correctly configured. As an example, when I call ATC and submit a request for startup, I receive a reply. However, the problem arises afterward – I don't get the option to request taxi. Instead, the system repeats the request for startup line. Any insights or tips on resolving this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Gideon
  14. Hi everyone, I recently upgraded to the AMD 9 7950X3D CPU, hoping for an enhanced VR experience in DCS. Unfortunately, I’ve been facing issues with stuttering, and my FPS consistently stays below 60, showing CPU-bound indicators (yellow/red). It’s been two weeks, and despite trying various tips and tricks from the forums related to the latest updates and VR issues, I haven’t been able to resolve the issue. I’m reaching out to the community to see if anyone else has the same CPU and has successfully managed to get DCS running smoothly in VR. If you have any insights or suggestions, I’d greatly appreciate your help. I'm encountering a perplexing issue with my VR setup, specifically in DCS (MT). Despite having a robust CPU, I find myself CPU bound (yellow/red) even when running the game at fairly low settings in VR. I only achieve around 50-60 FPS with severe stutters. Interestingly, in non-VR mode, I can fly with maximum settings and am GPU bound, achieving a smooth 150+ FPS. I'm using an Nvidia Control Panel with default settings. WMR on 60Hz. OpenXR tools for WMR are set at 100%, and motion reprojection is turned off. OpenXR toolkit disabled. DCS MT as administrator. SMT disabled in BIOS Game mode OFF, GPU hardware scheduling ON. Xbox game bar —> DCS ticked and recognized as game. Power plan balanced. There is some setting I’m probably missing. Any insights or suggestions to optimize my VR performance would be greatly appreciated! My specs are: - Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER motherboard - AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor - 64GB DDR5 (6400) RAM - Geforce RTX3080ti - HP Reverb G2 Thanks in advance.
  15. Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thanks for the advice on setting my Windows Mixed Reality (WMR) to 100%. It genuinely made a difference in my FPS—awesome tip! 25-30FPS to 55-60FPS (with some stuttering looking aside) Now, I’m looking to fine-tune things even more and explore Process Lasso. Any specific tips or best practices you’d recommend for getting the most out of it? Appreciate your help!
  16. Hello Forum, I'm encountering a perplexing issue with my VR setup, specifically in DCS (MT). Despite having a robust CPU, I find myself CPU bound even when running the game at its lowest settings in VR. When looking sideways, I only achieve around 20-30 FPS with some slight stutters. Interestingly, in non-VR mode, I can fly with maximum settings and am GPU bound, achieving a smooth 150+ FPS. I'm using an Nvidia Control Panel with default settings. OpenXR tools for WMR are set at 150%, and motion reprojection is turned off. OpenXR toolkit disabled. DCS MT as administrator. CPU unpark. There is some setting I’m probably missing. Any insights or suggestions to optimize my VR performance would be greatly appreciated! My specs are: Gigabyte X670E AORUS MASTER motherboard AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor 64GB DDR5 (6400) RAM Geforce RTX3080ti Thanks in advance.
  17. Hey Eduardo, changed the values in the ME no luck. But the suggestion of "too-cool" works. Formation lights and tail light full bright.
  18. Hey Rudel, awesome job. Mission 02 cold start: I seem to get stuck on the "throttle - levers fully back". They are back (and using the keybinds doesn't work either). Tried to get them in idle and back, no joy. I'm stuck at that point. Any idea??
  19. Still my go to mission whenever I fire up the Huey. I realize it’s been out for a while, but do you think you can make a version with “EightBall” his mods as well?
  20. Take a look at this mod: https://github.com/the-paid-actor/dcs-dtc ATM features: Sequence Points and Target Points Display settings for the Pilot and WSO Radio Settings and Presets Bingo fuel setting Radar altitude warning setting TACAN Channel/Band and ILS frequency
  21. Maybe this YouTube from Notso will help:
  22. I guess you ment the WSO..... Thanks, too bad we don't have something in the UFC or even in the HUD
  23. This question was imbedded in another post, but probably best asked here. Is there a way to track your progress during AAR without going heads-down to the "fuel quantity indicator"?
  24. Cool, already flew a couple of them. Keep up the good work, can't wait for the rest! In AAR mission you state in your briefing; "Track your progress in DED or HUD until you reach 7150 pounds etc" Q: How do I set-up my DED and/or HUD to see this progress? Any help much appreciated!
  25. We can only hope that posts like this draw some more attention and love for your mission. I personally hope you will continue making missions like this one
