I agree with USSInchon’s comments. You don’t use the word “clear” or “cleared” unless it is for landing or take-off clearance.
This could be a real game changer. Love it.-

I had simular problems. DCS VR would crash on Syria map as soon as I shifted the IPD slider on my Reverb G2. I noticed a massive frame drop on the few times it didn't crash. Also using FPSVR on Syria map was impossible. Game would freeze or fps would dive below 10.
I rolled back to Nvidia driver 446.14 and all problems were gone.

I uninstalled Steam VR and WMR for Steam VR. Did a repair on DCS. Installed everything again. Seems to be ok now.
-
Set some, a number of people reported getting better tracking as a result. I typically reset it after lighting changes in the room
That did not change anything. Tracking is working fine in other games.
-
No room boundaries. Using it seated only.
-
Lights are ok. I re-centered several times. Switched between beta and stable versions of both WMR for Steam VR and Steam VR. Tried earlier build of DCS. (I am on OB). Still not like it used to be.
-
Anyone having tracking problems lately? Tracking is very “jumpy”. I checked with other games and they are just fine.
-
Turn off object shadows. They are a real FPS killer for the Syria map.
You will still see ground shadows cast by mountains and hills.

I found this to be the best settings for me too (8700K@4.9Ghz, 2080ti). I prefer the fixed 45fps over adaptive, which seems to cause some stutters.
Since last weeks update I get flickering during night mission with anti collision lights on. Do you encounter this as well?

I think I saw some "discussion" here lately about the use of motion reprojection, SS and PD, but last couple of weeks I didn't really have time to actually read and understand all that was posted here. I'm a bit confused at the moment on what's the general opinion on the best combinations for the Reverb.
Right now I have:
- WMR (default.vrsettings) set to "motionReprojectionMode" : "motionvector"
- SteamVR motion smoothing: Disabled
- SteamVR legacy reprojection mode: Off
- SteamVR custom resolution multiplier: 180%
DCS MSAA: Off
PD: 0.7
Is that about right?
Or should I turn off motion repr. in WMR and set SteamVR motion smoothing to another setting (Enabled? Force always-on?)
Should I turn DCS MSAA to 4 and SteamVR to 100% SS?
I get pretty decent framerates, but I just wonder if I can do better :)
I run a 2080ti and an i7 9700k @4.9 GHz.
motion reprojection is set to auto, but motionvector is fine too
Steam VR SS 130 and DCS MSAA 2x
This gives me the best setup. I can run SS150, but I prefer smooth over sharp.

Hi guys....weird thing just happened. Although Motion Reprojection is enabled I get 60 fps in DCS.
Indicator shows green meaning the Reverb reaches its native fps. But that should be 90.
Up to now I have always had either 90 or 45 fps.
I uninstalled and re-installedd both Staem VR and WMR for Steam VR but no result.
Anyone else having this issue?
Never mind....I unplugged the headset and after that it was back to normal

I think most people that plan on getting the Reverb have 2080Ti's. If the one person on Reddit said the 2080ti can barely hold 60 fps with all settings on the lowest in DCS, I don't have too much hope for the Reverb.
Which is why I'm holding off on waiting for people to get it and try it out. I'd like to upgrade from my Odyssey but I dunno if the Rift S is a big enough upgrade if the Reverb pans out to be a no go.
That person later corrected himself. The low fps was caused by
the selected shadows. With shadows off he could get “rather high” settings

I have 16 gb ram. The SSD is set as the first drive.
Epsom is running ok now. No more game crashes and framerate is good enough.
-
Installed game on SSD. Big improvement. Playing Epsom campaign the game needs to be installed on SSD.
Thanks SiThSpAwN for pointing me in the right direction.
-
drivers are up to date. Increased memory to 16 Gb but same problem. Graphics are set to low already.
game is running of hdd. I do have an ssd. Might have to switch the game to ssd.

Hi,
Both DCS World and DCS 2.0 run perfectly fine on my pc. NTTR and Normandy as well.
Only when I start the Epsom campaign the game will either crash or have such a slow framerate that it becomes unplayable.
Any help is appreciated.

Solved!
In settings I was still in "game avionics mode" but not in "game flight mode". I unchecked "game avionics mode" and now its working fine.
Nosewheel steering and engine idle/off working fine too.
-
Sounds like you borked your controls. Did you install a mod? Might want to reset your controls to default and start again.
No mods. Same goes for keyboard input. I will have a go at resetting.
Nosewheel steering and engine off/idle inputs are not working either.

When I trim the a/c (on the ground or in the air makes no difference, sim or game mode neither) the trim will continue to its full down or full up position. Opposite trim will only reverse the action. The trim will keep moving until it reaches the limit. This happens only since yesterday.

xD that is funny. Tracks sometimes do funny stuff so I don't know if what I see is what actually happened but it just starts driving backwards.
Is that the DCS game mode?
Have you tried it in normal sim, same there for you?
It is early access so I wouldn't be surprised if its not yet (or ever) working in game mode.
Good tip. In sim mode it works ok.
Game mode seems to work fine too except for this rolling backwards problem.

This is what actually happens when I select ramp start. No way to stop it.

DCS VR Stutters
在 Game Performance Bugs
发布于
I had similar issues when switching back from the Pimax Super to the og Crystal. FPS was rock solid at 90 FPS yet still I kept having these stutters as shown in the video here in this topic.
Nothing I did fixed the issue until I remembered I capped the FPS in DCS settings to 90 FPS (following a tip for the Pimax Super). Once I set the FPS limit to above 90 the stutters went away and it’s butter smooth again.
