  1. Thanks for the information, this has got me very interested in trying Leap Motion for myself.
  2. I just did this one. Kept it at 250-260 until all package saddled at about 45nm to go. Then changed to pkg/main and hammered it to wp2 at 450 with about 30s to spare. They all keep up. I used the Desired Time acceleration cues which is explained in the manual but not chucks guide.
  3. I agree, the flypast sound is epic, turn it up for effect.
  4. For me the magic cure was Thud's https://vr4dcs.com/ guidelines. He gave me the help I needed to sort it out and get the G2 to work correctly. I am now really happy with the next level in VR over the Rift S. The thing is amazing, though I was close to losing my composure with it a few times there.
  5. The useless wingmen situation is totally wrecking the Black Shark experience for me now.
  6. agreed, I just encountered that "hold" and they didn't move.
  7. Hi Laivynas Thanks for the great campaign. I was sad when it finished, I just wanted to keep working around the oilfield. It all worked perfectly with no problems. The campaign made me really get to know the MI-8. I hope for a continuation.
  8. The A-10 where it has got to now, along with Chucks guide, what a great time to be alive.
  9. Hi there. Thanks for explaining that. I'll readjust my thinking.
  10. I think the pitch trim indicator is working incorrectly at the time of 2.5.5.41256. When the nose goes up with positive trim the indicator goes down indicating negative trim, and the same applies in the opposite direction. Also there is a difference of around a half a unit of pitch trim indicated between the front and rear cockpits. I am really enjoying the C101.
  11. Thanks for you thoughts on this. On one of my attempts, i ventured below the clouds into visual conditions and used the TGP which confirmed the coordinates were accurate. I then used a workaround solution and rearmed with LGBs, even though there was no target visible on the TGP the laser was sufficient to guide the GBU-12 through the clouds onto the JTAC mark. I would have preferred the JDAMS to work though.
  12. Yep, mission 7 on Baltic Dragons TEW 3.0 requires 38s above K12ft cloud on JTAC coordinates. Tried that today, No chance, they miss by miles. I tried 3 times from three different altitudes down from k20ft. Im going to have to try suicide run with MAVs seeing that the 38s are bugged.
  13. Day setting should be bright and night should be dim AFAIK. It seems to be the other way round in the sim.
  14. I'm happy to have been a line mechanic for a year on all of the last four to fly in UK, including XP693. Neat articles on the 'Frightning'. http://www.curbsideclassic.com/uncategorized/1960-english-electric-lightning-two-everests-in-three-minutes/ https://www.baesystems.com/en-uk/heritage/english-electric-lightning For me they are a thing of beauty and hold a special place as my dad worked on them too. I would love to see one in DCS.
  15. Same occurs for me too, at differing regularity. I'm on 385.xxx.
  16. Performance in VR too is now great as far as I can see. Cool update.
  17. Can’t believe how good the Harrier is in VR.
  18. Thanks, I'm using WinRAR, at least I know its a not a problem with the download.
  19. looks great in the picture, I couldn't get the RAR file to extract unfortunately, corrupted every time I downloaded it.
  20. This module is now really neat. I particularly enjoy the attention to detail of all elements in the cockpit, it looks great, ...even better in VR. You can see the hard work that has been put into it. Looking forward to seeing the module progress further, thanks.
  21. Hey Monty, that's a good description of the DCS VR experience, particularly the bit about the "natural feeling" in OPF.
  22. Thanks Hansangb, I had tried the powermgmt thing but not the registry edit. I'll try that next. I have been reading that the Rift is not compatible with some USB controllers too.
