I wish the main gear was simulated as intended. The front gear works as intended when taxing, it absorbs the bumps etc but the main gear not, only absorbs the landing but not in taxing making the Hornet look as if was "grued" to the ground. Just pay attention to the main gear when taxing and you´ll see, it absorbs impact (or bumps) but is very subtile. I think it will be a great addition for increasing realism in carrier traps or taxing on the taxiways.

In my first flights i was not catching traps so easily, i soon find out that i need to slam the T-45 into the deck, i was used to the Hornet and i changed a few things like the abeam distance due to slower speed of the T-45 etc. Maybe somehow this will help you. nevertheless keep us informed please.

+1 I have no problems catching a wire, with a occasional bolter yes.

Mustang, I´m very grateful for your work, believe me. My first "simulator" was Ace in my Timex 2068 and in 1983 there was no files or mod community whatsoever, just 1 line in my screen simulating the horizon... so, i´m always grateful for others work to enrich my experience. We achieved a lot in all these years. And i´m sure everyone appreciate your outstanding work. Thank you, and keep up!

Hi, noticed same thing but was unsure if this is the "correct" way. Tried just to be sure selecting Auto Int in the AZ/EL page, i know it is for auto interrogation but it was trial/error. Need more testing to see if i´m not doing something as should be.

Hi, Need your expertise. It´s possible to edit static object aircraft loadouts? tried for ages to understand if it is possible. If so, can you give me one example so then i can learn/work by myself please? Thank you. F.

Just a tip: i usually set the CONT knob all the way up in the MFD´s for get yellow fonts. About the AMPCD you need to adjust the brightness/contrast/gain as stated but it´s a problem of the real aircraft, it´s hard to read the digits on the AMPCD with Map On.

I think you need Flaming Cliffs to fly it. I don´t have and i only can use the VSN aircraft as AI. Hope it did help you in some way. Best regards. Be safe. F.

And i think there´s a fix from one of the users (Rudel_chw) for the most recent DCS updates (looks some people get errors with one/some units). EDIT:

For what i read there isn´t defined a maximum landing weight. Just take in consideration more runway length to stop, for example.

Yes i know, carrier landing gear. But check videos of Hornets taxing and you see the rear gear suspension reacting the bumps and the plane moving.

Probably you misunderstood me, or, i didn´t explain myself the best way. I wish that the gear suspension react to the bumps while taxing.

Hi all, This feature has been added few patches ago. Does anyone which .lua file, and line, i can edit the movement speed please? I want to use WASD keys as now, for "walking" in VR, but with lower speed. Thank you. F.
