  1. Hi I do not want to sound angry but I am This has happened several times prior after updating boresighting is screwed ... really? I am willing to offer my free services to download beta packs and test for you whether F-16 maverick boresighting is working or not - prior to your releases..... why is the recurring so often? do you need testers / staff shortages? I am keen to be a free beta tester, but really, I do not want to update and AGAIN find boresighting of mavericks are broken, then I wish I bought and learned another module the past 2-3 years
  2. from what I remember that always has been that way. Use mode 1 or 2 in Auto. Remember as soon as it Transmits the FCR will not be useable. I think all the way back in 'XMT' mode the FCR will be disabled, I will test it as soon as I am in the sky again.
  3. 100% And it is always good to pick a smaller vehicle (friendly unit) on the map, do a fly-by and check if your boresight was accurate (both pylons!) prior to flying toward the engagement area ... I only head out toward target area ones I have at least verified that my bore sighting was accurate enough, and I always boresight at least 4 miles distance.

  6. What you can do is use Markpoints steerpoint 26+ And change the input from HUD - seq right until you see OFLY (for overfly) then TMS UP. Remember to 0-MSEL to make the markpoint your new steerpoint <-- that you can then use to navigate back to your airbase I use this when I want to take-off and fly back to my airbase to do things like boresight mavericks to a vehicle close to my airbase etc. But that other option is to use an app called DCS The Way aronCiucu/DCSTheWay: Imports waypoints from DCS F10 map into the plane navigation system, like a Data Transfer Cartidge. I have since changed my Curvature to 35 + and dead-zone on my stick to 5 This has helped and I have to trim and trim and trim, so still learning that a normal stick jumps to center and on the helo you want to force trim to keep the trim position of the cyclic, this has helped me a lot.   9. Hi I have started to learn the AH-64 However, I recently came across the follow problem. When I am flying, say 140knts at an altitude of around 800feet, collective set to +- 78% Copilot seems to think I am experiencing a retreating blade stall, is this leading me in the right direction? next time I will reduce the engine power to 80% and see if that keeps the altitude? The phenomenon you’re experiencing is likely due to a condition known as retreating blade stall1. This occurs when the helicopter’s forward speed decreases to zero, causing the retreating blade to stall1. In forward flight, the advancing blade (the one moving into the wind) generates more lift than the retreating blade (the one moving away from the wind). This is due to the combined speed of the helicopter and the rotational speed of the blade. However, when the helicopter slows down to 0 kts, the retreating blade’s relative wind speed decreases, reducing its lift1. At the same time, the angle of attack on the retreating blade increases to compensate for the loss of lift. If the angle of attack exceeds the critical angle, the retreating blade stalls1. This can cause the helicopter to start falling and shaking, as you’ve experienced. To recover from a retreating blade stall, you would typically need to reduce power, which decreases the angle of attack on the retreating blade and helps it regain lift1. It’s important to note that this is a complex aerodynamic phenomenon and can be influenced by various factors, including altitude, temperature, and the helicopter’s weight1.
  10. mmm does not seem to be purely a case that when my collective is 50% < that it will engage... it is engaging (the ALT hold) more frequently now that I use lower collective, but does not seem to be purely related to collective %?
  11. Hi thank you! I noticed around 50% torque (assuming you mean) collective? when I push up the collective to around 60% + it disengages! thanks! very new to learning the AH 64 ...
  12. Hi I can get Attitude Hold (AT) to work and it shows up on the console. However, Altitude Hold (AL) does not appear on the console and does not appear to engage? What parameters must I be flying for (AL) Altitude Hold to engage?
  13. Hi I installed the Caucus terrain and now my training missions are all visible again. Thanks, do you guys know where I can find training missions on other terrains for the F-16 and Apache?
  14. Hi I have the latest 22 Feb 2024 DCS World installed. But there are no training missions available for my F-16 and Apache modules? Must I install Caucus map? With the following terrains and modules Terrains Nevada Synai Syria Modules F-16 Apache Other Combined Arms
