  1. So, how's it going EvilBert? Have you got the switches and dials figured out yet? I'm anxious to hear....
  2. Since my old 4790k build is getting a little long in the tooth since the Vive Pros and gear showed up I decided to upgrade it a little bit. So I bought a(n): MSI MEG Z390 Godlike Intel 9900K to give it personality Gskill TridentZ RGB 32 GB 3200 2x MSI RTX 2080TI Seahawk EK and about $1700 in RGB crap and hard tubing junk stuffed in a Thermaltake Tower 900 White If you never hear from me again or see a build picture my wife Kathleen did it : )
  3. I just got 1 of my MSI RTX 2080 ti seahawk eks (Washington snow delays delivery of #2) and they're replacing 2 GTX 1080s. With 1 card I am ahead of where I was with the 2 1080s so I would do it if you aren't having to starve the family to do it...
  4. I had to run it in Non-SLI when I first got my Vive to work something out and noticed it ran a bit hotter and I had to drop the settings so I don't know personally. I got my first of 2 RTX 2080 ti last Friday and when the snow ever melts enough in Washington to get the second one I'll let you know the before and after frame count.
  5. I found that with my GTX 1080s in SLI that if you disable your rear-view mirrors you get a 7+ frame boost with the VR Pixel Density set at 1.5 - 1.6 (I can't read the cockpit printing any lower).
  6. Mine did that before I lost the first detent but it was a long time coming
  7. I just did the update and ran into the same problem with my Vive Pro. For whatever reason if I set the pixel density (Settings/VR tab) to 1.8 or lower it ceases for me. I hope it helps someone. Now if I could figure out what program uses space to center my headset view (never happened before today) so I can check out the training missions.....
  8. El Hadji, you hit that one on the head. In the realistic mode it is assigned in the axis settings. In Easy Mode, the Track IRs' assignments are 'blued out' as of yet....
  9. Same thing here. I had BS2 earlier today, but because DCS World gave me a hash mismatch error, I re-downloaded DCS world and it finally updated, but I completely lost BS2, and can't download it through the module schmeely in DCS World as it says I now need to buy it. Why...why.....(shakes fist in air and weeps into keyboard, then decides rum is the answer till someone smarter than me notices this and helps me)
  10. Uggh, another question. Please bear with me. I have 2 monitors, #1@ 1920x1080, which displays the game, and a second monitor @1440x1050, which does nothing but collects dust for the most part. I tried using the Monitor Settings LUA that ED had came up with for BS1, but it won't work with the current version, (it tries to load the mission and then pukes) Could you help me come up with with a LUA file for BS2 that would put the screens in the upper left hand corner of monitor #2 so i can get the grabber on them? Especially with the SHKVAL screen, It seems the older I get, the harder that baby is to see. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  11. Thanks for posting the visuals! I really wanted to make sure I didn't goof it up.
  12. Thanks Jib, for the new Touch Control stuff to work with BS2. I'm looking forward to using them! I had one question (and hope it doesn't sound stupid), and if it was answered and I missed it, please forgive. After downloading your touch control ver. 5b, do you import the whole zip file as is, or do you unzip it and import the config and images file seperately? And, is there a monitor .lua file that has to be inserted into the game? Thanks in advance!
