Think the main difference is the brace on the nose landing gear for carrier take-offs. Shouldn't be too much work to produce a model with it removed for AI units hopefully.

This is my most anticipated module. I honestly can't wait for it. With the Nimitz, Forrestall, F-14, F/A-18, upcoming A-6 and F-4 DCS is shaping up to be an excellent USN cold war sim Think there is also an F-8 in the mix too!

How does it affect you if a third party developer has sought to develop a product they think will sell? If you don't like it, don't buy it - why all the hate?

Yeah, I think if we see a British phantom, it would likely be a J as HB could get two birds with one stone by offering it as a USN, USMC and RAF bird.
