  1. ModManFX gives an error when trying to click "Install Mod" button.

A small popup is displayed with title "AutoIt Error" and message:

    Line 27223 (File "C:\MODMAN\ModManFXv1276\ModManFX64.exe"):

Error: Variable used without being declared.

Weird thing is that it used to work a few weeks ago. I wonder what changed?

  5. I have just tried this in anger in prep for the new patch today, worked really well and helped me diagnose a few file overlaps thanks to "partial"!

    a couple of feature requests:

would it be possible to add a custom name to the profile? I use this to manage the saved games folder as well.

select more than one mod at a time to apply?

add dependencies and exclusions, this mod and this other mod cannot work together, to use this mod you need this one?

    many thanks

for custom name, did you try the 'rename' button ? :)

for more than one mod at a time, adding to the to do list

For dependencies and exclusions, a bit more difficult, adding to the to do list but not in near future

  7. every time i try and open the file it keeps saying this error

"windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"

i have tried running this as administrator but still get the same message. and i have tried downloading it several times and still no luck.

    Any ideas guys?

    read my precedent post please

  8. Does anyone know why I'm having this error message?

    "Error loading library

Please check whether PowerBuilder accessibility library can be located in the path."

    Thanks in advance.

are you using VISTA, WIN7 ? and have you installed ModMan in program files folder ?

due to windows UAC features, this error may occurs.

not sure at all, you are the first about this error. (powerbuilder are the ModMan runtime libraries)

  9. You'd think right? Lots of people ask "what's root?"

You would know where the EXE should be in relation to the root so if the exe is in C:\Directory1\Directory2\Directory3\Directory4\bin\x86\stable\simulator.exe then you know the root is C:\Directory1\Directory2\Directory3\Directory4\, just working backward.

    you are wrong

ModMan is Multigame not only Lockon, series

i can't know what is the root directory between the several Directoryxxx

Modman is able to manage game i have not on my HDD so i don't know the directory tree at all of a specific game

why are you choosing directory4 as root directory ? why not Directory3 ? and why not c:\ ? have you got an AI computer ?

sorry guys but you miss the coding point

btw hope it's can help :D

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root_directory

this will never change so if it's too difficult to show the game root director, you have always the possibility to manage addon manually.

When you install a game, windows ask you where you want to install the game folder not the simulator.exe file :D

But maybe Bill gates will change this way in future ? stay tuned ! :D

    best regards

    Skypat

  10. Lol, Skypat, someday you might want to change the way ModMan verifies game install and exe location. So many people are drilling all the way down to the EXE and having this problem. Having the user point to the specific exe is more idiotproof than the root directory.

if i ask for exe file, i will never know where is the root directory and so i will never know where the game tree folder start.

this won't change, user should read what ModMan ask for

"Show me the way to the [GAME] ROOT folder !"

    it's clear, isn't it ? :)

    best regards

  12. Good news, but check out why KIS-Kaspersky reported that MM has a virus

    Infected Trojan program Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Lmir.low http : / / http://www.checksix-fr.com /files/modman/modman7200.exe//lib\dxtex.exe High

    Therefore, KIS don't allow installation.

i can't fix it, dxtex.exe is a command line utility from Microsoft.

KIS detect it as false positive but file is safe.

You should code an exception rule.

i use Eset smart security 4.x

    Best regards

    Skypat

  13. @Skypat:

When I load up Modman it asks me for the path to Blackshark but refuses to accept it. I've manually put it in "Registry.ini" but it still says "show me the way to the root folder".

    MODMAN Version 7.20

This is a clean install of BS with 1.02 patch. The game runs fine.

    EDIT:

Fixed the problem by adding "x86" into the paths in Modman.ini

yes it's due to 1.02 patch changes

will work fine with ModMan 7.3

  14. Hello

ModMan 7.3 will be available this week-end.

it will support new graphics_bs.cfg file for BS 1.0.2

it will officialy support FC 2.0 patch 1.2.1

for BS 1.0.2, if you can't wait, just UNCHECK "when possible, install texture in CDDS files', so ModMan will use temptexture folder and all skins will work (with few fps loss)

    best regards
