I am in love with the F-4E. Every day there is something new to learn, and improve upon from yesterday. I have recorded every multiplayer session I have participated in and learned so much in the process - the F-4E, (like we all anticipated based on the books and articles and manuals we read in advance of release) is very capable in the vertical fight. Even more so if the bandit also commits to the vertical with you. Making MiG 21's and Mirages run out of energy and fall out of the sky is a form of entertainment I never new existed when I was flying the F-5. I compiled my first 5 engagements into a short discussion video. I hope to make many more of these!

I am interested to learn more about the modding potential for Jester in the F-4E, it looks like there will be more tools available. Ideally i would love to write a script that takes the Jester voicelines and automatically converts them to any voice of our choosing. That would be a lot faster than the Jest-Her mod, which took almost 80 hours and close to $150 in credits haha

I am curious if the coming low fidelity module will also see an art update, like the art updates that some of the AI aircraft received? I would also love to see a treatment of the F-5E FF module to an export standard that included an air refueling probe and maverick. Kind of like the upgrades for the black shark and A-10C - optional, with expanded capability. One can dream! F-5E is still my daily driver in DCS.

Haha when was the Belsimtek F-4E first announced? 2016/2017? Our character must be built up to the moon by now! All joking aside, being this close after waiting for so long is great if not a little maddening (in a good way??)

This is the reason I have put off my F-5 pit project entirely... even if built 1:1 to the real thing, the DCS one is still an artists impression. This is why I have been so vocal in the forums for an art update to the F-5E - it's really showing its age and in the era of laser scanned sub millimeter accuracy (a la Heatblur) it's no longer acceptable to be so far off of the real thing. I'll pay $15 for an upgrade if it means making the module more accurate. And I'm not even a rivet counter!!

I personally recommend Trigger 4, it's what I use and I like the feel of it the best in my F-5 setup! It is dual stage - the small canted lip will interact with both microswitches. There is another trigger with a more aggressive cam surface, however I have noticed that the return from the second stage can get sticky. Trigger 4 is 2 stage and the best bet for the F-5! null

Trigger 1 is the same as the original, and trigger 4 is similar in footprint to another B-8 grip I scanned. 2&3 are F-15 triggers
