  1. I just noticed this issue myself and I've tried multiple way's to fix it with no joy. I didn't have the black VDI TV screen before the latest patch where they merged both stable and open beta versions. Changing the contrast just makes the screen bright green or black. I'm on MT in VR. I can't visually identify friend or foe anymore or see ground targets when doing ground attacks. This doesn't give me much confidence about the upcoming F4 Phantom, that I was looking forward to when this bug effectively breaks the F-14 for me in multiplayer and a lot of single player missions as it is such an important tool for me.
  2. I'm having this issue now. I'm in VR, Multi-Threading. The VDI TV screen is either black or bright green if I change the contrast.
  3. Thankyou! I managed to get it working in DCS and it even works with Almalense!!! Brilliant!!! Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou speed of heat! Now I just need to get OpenXR Mirror running in OBS.
  4. In the first screenshot I had rearranged the order so it looked correct without the '!' telling me that their was an issue. I then unticked Almalense and I'm guessing that is somehow incompatible maybe? The only thing to do now is load up DCS and see if OpenXR Toolkit works, but I really like the Almalense visual enhancement of the cockpit textures and it would be a shame to not use it. It makes a big difference for me.
  5. I just loaded the win64 HKLM version and their was a list but at the bottom it said that their was a problem with the order and something to do with Varjo Aero. So I clicked 'Fix it' and now the list has disappeared and I can't get the list back. OpenXR Toolkit refuses to even be switched on now. Screenshot below:null
  6. Theirs nothing in the box though. I've just taken a screenshot of my desktop.null
  7. I had OpenXR Toolkit installed a while ago because I had the Reverb G2. I had version 1.3.2 which is still the latest version. In OpenXR Toolkit it says from top to bottom: XR_APILAYER_MBUCCHIA_toolkit XR_APILAYER_MBUCCHIA_quad_views_foveated XR_APILAYER_MBUCCHIA_eye_trackers XR_APILAYER_ALMALENCE_digital_lens
  8. Thanks. I already tried that but I don't know how to use it. When I select add layers it doesn't allow me to add EXE files, only JSON files.
  9. Every time I start DCS in either custom OpenXR Toolkit settings or Safe Mode all I see is the Pimax logo in the Crystal. The only way I can get DCS to work in VR is by disabling OpenXR Toolkit in it's menu. I have PimaxXR Runtime and Quad Views Campanion working, as well as Dynamic Foveated Rendering but I can't get OpenXR toolkit to work at the same time as my HMD. Below is my log and it looks like it is working as it says 'open menu with 2' which is what I had it set to and is my usual setup. Even though I can not see DCS in the Crystal. Any help would be appreciated! Thankyou! 10. I am having this exact same issue right now with DCS. 'The other WWII sim' will either crash on starting up or if I'm lucky to load up in a plane I can only move my head and my keyboard and mouse stops working, so I need to Alt Tab to stop/ terminate the application/ title. That 'Almalence_DLVR_OpenXR_Layer_installer_v1_6_2' software is absolutely amazing though! Just wow! I couldn't believe the difference! I do hope that when the license runs out soon that Pimax purchases it. That in itself blew me away when I was switching it on and off with the Delete key, looking at the plane in the hanger! I could see very, very fine details just on the paint of the plane with this software.
  11. I definitely need a lot more practice with the RB05's and Rockets! Thankyou! I rely way too much on the Mavericks myself. It would be nice if I could take out factory's and infrastructure on Enigmas Cold War server after taking out the SAM's with Mavericks. So that would be at least three sorties in total. Recon and then SEAD and finally a Strike mission on the buildings.
  12. Thank you very much! This should help me get used to my new setup. I am re-learning the Viggen again as I just purchased the WinWing HOTAS F-15 throttle and F-16 stick with the rumble add on (coming from the TM Warthog) and now I can finally have a two stage trigger for the Radar and use the add on trigger as the weapon release trigger as you can flip it forward so the safety is off. It's great but the Viggen feels completely different now and I need some good training missions before going back on Enigmas Cold War Server. Would you be able to do any training missions regarding the Jamming Pod on the Viggen? I never did get around to learning that part of the Viggen.
  13. A great series so far! This has helped me understand the navigation and some of the weapon systems. I would love to see more! Thank you!
  14. Edit: Video removed. Thank you for the quick reply! This is my currently unlisted test video that I am sharing with you. I am editing it as of now. Most of the time I am getting 90Hz in my HMD but in the video it is obvious to me when it slips back to 45Hz. I am OK with the performance in this video but: I would very much like to know your input on why I get pop in textures and very bad shimmering whilst flying along the beach looking at the thin line of wooden docks made for small fishing boats etc. In the video at 22:38 you can see a building that is being constructed from bottom to top in real time. Very strange! This is raw footage from a cropped 'window capture' to hide the VR lenses shape. I am also using the default resolution in OpenXR which says (something close to) 3100 x 3100 I believe. Even though the Reverb G2 is a 2160 x 2160 resolution HMD. I don't understand that. I am not using any OpenXR post processing. DCS pixel density is set to 1.0. Information as copied from the video description: Testing OpenXR CAS & Turbo Mode, Over The Landing Beaches In a Reverb G2 V2 Also testing the new Nvidia AV1 Live Stream Encoder with OBS at 2560x1440p (16:9) with Window Capture and custom cropped settings. Constant Bitrate of 18Mbps. OpenXR Turbo: on. With CAS sharpening at 100%. DCS: High & Ultra settings. All DCS in game AA settings switched off. If the frame rate looks higher than 45fps in the video, then the frames are 90fps in my HMD. 5/22/2023 PC Specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Master Z690 CPU: Intel i9-12900k GPU: RTX 4090 Memory: 32G (2x16) DDR5 5600 MHz CL36 Corsair Samsung Storage: Samsung 980 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD x 3 CPU Cooling: Silent Loop 2 360mm Monitor: Samsung G9 32:9 (5120x1440) 240Hz Head Mounted Display: HP Reverb G2 V2 OS: Windows 11 & Marriage, both running on a turbo charged V12 SSD! PS. I have heard that in IL-2 GB's. People have had good results in VR, setting their Texture Filtering - LOD bias to -500 in the Nvidia Profile Inspector. I am yet to try this in DCS. My Nvidia Profile Inspector 2.3.0.13 version seems to have removed all BAR settings. But I remember forcing it on a couple of years ago. New Drivers maybe? I am also running no Anti Aliasing in DCS. So maybe a simple OpenXR upscale of 10 to 20% would be enough for the shimmering? Instead of the DCS 'MSAA x 2' switched on. It is very heavy on my performance.
