Hi again, I didn't notice mostly because I got shot down twice on landing at Tarawa being too much confident about the defense. So I put a Hawk site on Fujayrah. Have you thought about moving the fight to the west of the map too? On the persian Gulf, not just the strait of hormuz... Could be another mission, Operation Venom. That would be a "just carriers" allied war against Iran/Russia.....with long pinpoint strikes over targets in populatetd áreas, mountains to cover, very cool.

Hi Surrexen, Sorry to abandon you on this, as it seems that I'm the only one using Harrier in those fantastic missions. I've been out for a while but your updates are really fast. I love the Tarawa addition...you are my man Thank you very much! About the loadout, in my humble opinion the one you have (2xaim9+ 2x122 + 2x65G) it's ok for the most missions the harrier will do at the begining as the first thing you have to do is wipe out the enemy air defense. Also a good loadout is 2xaim9+ 2x122+ 2x38 or 2xaim9+ 2x38+ 2x65g. The aim9 are there just to give you pace of mind...nothing else. The enemy appears, you runs like hell at least they are Sopwith Camel Another one for SEAD preplaned targets and pro pilots would be 2xaim9+ 4x38 or 2xaim9+ 2x122+ 4x38. The Tarawa defense is a "must have" thing for me but no worries, it's something I can solve easily placing missile systems on shore. The reason is I move it a little to the south to be more confortable and to have a bit longer and challenging missions and quite often enemies chase me till the carrier long away from allied flights...so I need air defense. Again, I'm very pleased with this recent update. Thanks!!

Hi again, Glad we have another great mission Surrexen! Nevada will be very fun aswell. Despite the advices on how to spawn the Harrier in multiplayer/clients missions I've read on the forums, anyone worked for me. Doing a bit of trial and error, I found this: 1-Put a flight of two (not tested but prety sure two or more works aswell) 2-Rus the mission and select one of them, no matter which one. 3-The annoying "your flight has delayed" appears. 4-Select "change slot" and try the other one and That works for me. Happy New Year for all.

Hi all, Finally I found what's the problem related to the Harrier spawn at Tarawa. Nothing has to do with Snowfox mission. See this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=256393 and this one is very funny, I don't know how to do a track file with this issue: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=256862 Well, these are two of many other threads with the same problem that seems to be represented in CLIENT slots. Since I was using Snowfox almost full time, I was not aware that this happened in every mission Tarawa is involved. I'll try with player slots instead of clients and see if it happens too.

Thanks for the answer Surrexen. I'm playing harrier right now and honestly I have to say that I'm having a blast with it. I think it's the mix of more or less a jet with an helicopter soul, and I'm a helo lover. For sure has some bugs but they don't stop me from enjoying it to the fullest. So sorry to hear that. I've tried both things, copy paste the stenis group changing to Tarawa instead and creating a whole new group. Both of these solutions fail to go. I think it's posible related to some scripting of the carriers?? I don't know... So I'll wait then, no worries! Thanks again!

Hi Surrexen, Very, very amazing mission you have here. Lots of fun and immersion. Simply astonishing job. Just a question, and I fear it's already answered somewhere but after having read all the posts in Snowfox and Clear Field threads I hadn't been able to find this; Is there a way to add Tarawa carrier in both Snowfox and Clear Field? I tried to put the carrier with a flight of 2 client harriers but no matter what I always get the message as son as I select the slot: "your flight is being delayed, please wait" and this goes forever. Thanks for your time.

In my case I found that if do not select any fuzing on ACP (Fuzing control) the mav doesn't get rdy. But again...it is soo random I do not consider it a definitive solution. What I do now is: 1.-Go to stores 2.-Select mav 3.-Fuzing any option different tan SAFE. I didn't check it with the manual control knob.....

This is happening to me too in the stable 2.5.3.24984 version, even with the position and stroboscopic lights. No other module affected. I'm gonna try the Esac fix, hope this also fix position and strobe... Thanks mate!

The thing is working again!!!! Finally.... I did a complete reinstall of win7 with drivers and all the updates (such a tedious task) Then nvidia drivers 417.35 DCS without a single module (tested and ok) DCS with everything (perfect) Now I have to configure it all to my taste (no really dificult) I think that something time ago f****d the OS but I didn't noticed until update 2.5.3 revealed it. As I reverted and went ok this confused me and moved me away from right path. Draconus, negative! I do not ever replace the file because I was not able to. But trying to replace it via secure command prompt then appeared classpnp error also. This was the definitive clue to realize that my OS was bad injured, together with false memory stick behaviour. I checked "visor de eventos" and "eventos del sistema" and some errors appeared to. I repaired the System files on D:....now everything on SSD (this was something I wanted to do when reinstall OS, don't know if repair option could do the same though) Anyway.....I'm very happy again soooo let's Thank you very much to all of you....next thing I would like to try would be MP experience.

Esac, I'll do mate. Right now testing RAM Buzzles, I think there has been a misunderstanding. As in my post I wrote HDD you have understood that I'm using DCS on a HDD. Sorry but since 2011 I'm using DCS on a SDD and for sure it's night and day. I've tried a default chkdisk because i don't really know how to do it using its options. I'm gonna check it out. Revs, I did already all relative to pagefile without succes. My system has 4 memory sticks 4gb DDR3 each. Trying what you suggested relative to memory sticks I found a couple of things: 1.-Win 7 starts and works pretty well with only one stick, aand...no classpnp.sys error with this configuration. 2.-Then I swapped the sticks from their original positions and tried to start each time with one more. No classpnp.sys error in every attempt. As son as I insert the fourth, classpnp.sys error again. As you are thinking, obviously the last is the faulty stick...NO. If I swap it with one of the three already working well, no classpnp.sys error. As son as I put the fourth, no matter which one...classpnp.sys. So one thing I didn't tried yet (I'm realizing while writting) is to put just one stick into the fourth slot, maybe a faulty MOBO. Draconus, good one the manage computer thing (I never used it nor know about it even) I attach the screens because I don't really know how to read into it although I thing there is no SDD errors at all. I went to C++ as per said by Esac and also following this ED advise here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/556/ but I agree with you what is said in this link relative to C++ is not causing my issue though. (anyway tried everything)

I've tried again a DCS clean install applying those advices and tips but do not want to start either. The same s**t... After this I went to replace the ntdll.dll file and starting the OS just command prompt, a classpnp.sys error file arose freezing to a blue screen while OS tried to spool up. This is new!!! Then I thought it might be a HDD defect but don't have the possibility to test unless a Checkdisk, that revealed nothing. Although it is a 7 years old disk, is it likely to have a defect?? A ntdll.dll along with classpnp.sys show up something wrong in my rig so, I thing it's time to clean up the whole SDD and go for a fresh OS install....lets see. This is as close as I am to flying Still no test of memory under stress Draconus.
