    Could someone please advice what I am doing wrong? I'd like my screen to look like the first picture. I usually launch into 3440x1440 and it looks like this with the old launcher. I exited, then relaunched with the new launcher, and it looks like the below, even though the resolution is the same.

    On your idea, I deleted the mission start trigger to force a new load of the script file and it works. So I would have to do this each time I change the script. Thanks @Pikey Will this crew chief spawn for each additional wingmen? EDIT: to answer my own question, yes they do, for each client.

    @313 SQN JD I just tried your script. I like it. I tried to change the position of the chief but no matter what angle I put it around the aircraft, it spawns in the default 300º. local heading = _client:GetHeading() + 270 This is the only line I have altered. Also, how do I get a crew chief to spawn for each a/c in the flight. I would press the > key so extra wingmen would spawn into the same group. Do I need a separate script file for each crew chief?

    Your program is EXCELLENT! To have to rewrite the JSON file each time is such a pain. Thank you for your efforts. Can it actually tune to MIDS? If so, how do you change channels?

    10 months later, I had this problem with a new computer. I believe the annoying pop up panel is the desktop view app. Got to settings > Mixed reality > Start up and desktop. I have all the options unticked. The one to solve OP's question is Desktop view. Don't let it open the desktop view app when a desktop app gains focus and I'm wearing my headset. This might help someone else.

    The log file said some error with a kneedboard lua file. I moved it out of the folder and now it takes 10sec to load into a jet after selection! Restarted the computer to check it wasn't a fluke. Same for VR. The lua file has something to do with Kneeboard builder. The builder still works without that lua file in the folder. So I'm baaaackk. Thanks for your efforts Flappie.

    Oops, I thought I did Here they are. dcs.log.old after a 7min wait, it loaded dcs log after the 8min wait, it loaded. dcs.log dcs.log.old

    Did this, and after 7 minutes, I was in a cockpit. I included the dcs.log.old and there was a error in the kneeboard mission file. Can I delete this? I restarted the computer and 8 minutes later, I was in a cockpit and I included the dcs.log file. It was stuck at 2022-06-26 23:22:52.432 WARNING FLIGHT: carrier technician [1: green_nw] created, id 11 for a long time, then a minute later, I was in the cockpit. Thanks Flappie. An improvement, but is there anything I can do to reduce this very long load time?

    What I attached in the first post is it. I just tried connecting to a server with Nevada map and it hangs as well. Here's the log generated. is there another log file to get? dcs.log
