Hi going to take advantage of the steam Halloween discount and buy the carrier but which aircraft do I need thanks.

In fact I've renamed the folder to avoid deleting its contents at every launch.

I'm really chuffed to hear that Spit engine and fly in combat on the channel map again! I seem to have found the solution to CTDs on the DCS forum. By removing the contents of this folder : C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS https://forum.dcs.world/topic/274810-dcs-openbeta-crashing-when-loading-a-mission/

Seems opentrack was a red herring, this sim is the only game that crashes my pc forcing restarts. Tried every solution I can find, no joy.

Been made aware that opentrack causes crashes will try facetracknoir or failing that just use the hat switch.

I'm guessing this sim is optimised for a narrow cohort of users. I can play 40 steam games and sims with no issues, but this sim crashes at every mission startup. Will install it again if there has been another update in the hope that some work has been done on compatibility.

Immersive or distracting? Thinking it could be immersive.

Got it to work again, reset NVidia control panel ( may have had no effect) and reinstalled DCS after deleting all files in steam and in steam apps and saved games. Glad it's working again as I really enjoy flying this sim.

DCS is restarting my pc after crashing when starting any mission I can play il2 and MSFS 2020 on high/ultra settings no problem. Asus gtx 1070 i73770 cpu 24gb 1333mhz memory @ 1400mhz 700w psu dcs.log.old

I have no problems with weather in any other sim, they are an FPS killer in this sim. This sim needs a clouds off option.
