  1. @OverStratos Due to a recent discussion in another module thread on pitch and G onset I felt the urge to say "Thank you" for the excellent characteristics of the MiG-19 in that regard. It's so fantastic to see how in the MiG-19 the elevator controls are adjusted to speed, giving you good control authority no matter if you going fast or slow, without the fear of instantly over-g'ing the aircraft and ripping off the wings. In the MiG-19 you actually have to pull hard at high speed to get to high Gs, whereas in at least two of EDs modules just a fifth of total elevator movement will let you break the aircraft, so instead of pulling hard like in the real jet, you need to apply increasingly less pressure on the stick to avoid catastrophic structural failure, while on landing you need to stir the stick like crazy to even get the tiniest control outputs. Not so with the MiG-19. Well done, Overstratos and Razbam! I am looking forward to your MiG-23!
  2. Many thanks for the end of year report, very much appreciated. Cockpit looks great, but please Red Star Simulations, for the love of Marx and Lenin, please include an English cockpit version.
  3. Yes, AI helicopter behavior is quite weird in DCS, even more than that of planes. Unfortunately it's a total immersion killer seeing AI helicopters take off and land.
  4. It's those details that make an excellent skin for an immersive simulation experience. Thank you for your efforts, I am very much looking forward to Szatan Arba!
  5. There is! Under "controls", "trimmer reset".
  6. What's the current status of multicrew in the Gazelle? Has anyone tried it lately? My last attempts are more than a year old, back then there were a lot of desync issues. Has that been improved lately? Is multicrew stable and dependable on a busy multiplayer server?
  7. This was actually the case even before the last patch. I can't tell how long this has been the case already, but I know for sure I came across this bug a few months ago. Thanks for reporting it.
  8. I'd like to see one campaign where you are not "an American exchange pilot" for once though
  9. The analog speedometer actually shows IAS and TAS with two needles, which is a nice feature if you ask me. (TAS is shown in the Mach meter) For assessing your aircraft's current performance in WVR combat, IAS is quite helpful, but for navigation and BVR combat TAS is more useful.

    MiG-17PF

According to the interview they have some very competent people on the team. Looking forward to the -17F, I'm very happy with that choice.
  11. Last thing I read was the developer wants to implement new things and standards with the Kiowa first, then implement these to the Gazelle.
  12. Now it is Christmas 2022 and we're still waiting for the veil to be lifted....
