Firing missiles MLRS M270 not working

Damn it.. I see.. Sorry, I missed it. But it now works :)) Thanks! -
Firing missiles MLRS M270 not working
Art of Simulation replied to Art of Simulation's topic in Mission Editor
Okay, updated my DCS game and tried out a clean new mission, only setup the MLRS, and set 'Perform task' to 'Fire at point'. I've set the target on Qeshm Island airport. It's within range. I left all the other options for the task as default. It doesn't do anything. Also when it's closer to the minum range, it still doesn't work. @toutenglissecan you confirm you set it up the exact same way (except for the location ofcourse)? -

Weird, tried out the exact same thing and doesn't work for me, lol. But thanks for letting me know Maybe installing the latest update will fix it, have to give it a try. -
Firing missiles MLRS M270 not working

What other things were set up in this mission file, or was it just only the MLRS? Would you like to share your mission file with us, so we can see what we are doing wrong? -
Firing missiles MLRS M270 not working

Hmm strange, but thanks for trying. I just fast forward the gameplay in case it need preperation time. Doesn't move or do anything at all. Think I will try out making a clean mission only having the MLRS and just wait that 3 minutes and see what happens. -
Hey, I'm noticing some issues when setting tasks for ground units. Especially for ground units who need to fire cruise missiles or missiles like the MLRS M270. When I set the ground unit task to "Perform task"-> "Attack group" and then select the enemy group to attack, it doesn't do anything at all. Also when setting "Fire at point", it doesn't fire anything. I've seen YouTube videos about how you can set tasks to fire cruise missiles, followed the exact same steps, but seems not to work for me. My target is in the missile range, also the minimum range has been reached and within maximums. Does anyone experiences troubles with this too? Could this be a bug, or am I doing something wrong? Just thought that setting the task would instantly work. Thanks!

Okay, so I've received my TrackIR kit and it works really great! I've been able trying smooth camera movements with it, and I love it. I've made a new short cinematic video in which I'm not using the mouse for cam movement anymore, but using the TrackIR now. I'm seeing huge difference and it makes cinematics much better.

Hey, So in my other topic I was looking for some more info on how to make great cinematics (https://forum.dcs.world/topic/297898-looking-for-more-info-about-making-cinematic-videos/). Despite I didn't found any more information I decided on just making some cinematic and practicing a bit with it. So I would like to share my first cinematic on my second YouTube channel. There are some imperfections, and I hope TrackIR will help me getting some nice angles soon as well. Now I'm just using the mouse for cam movement.

Hey all! I'm practicing with creating some cinematic footages of DCS, but I'm feeling like I'm missing some information or missing some kind of tips or tricks others are using and I'm probably not aware of. I've searched Google yet, and followed some tutorials on YouTube on how to create cinematics - but looks like everyone is doing it in another way. Some prefer doing it on a server, some just watching the client track file and taking different camera angles and screen recording it. I also read something about AVI Tool. Looks great, especially to get your video into 60FPS. But I've tried it and looks like it doesn't do anything with zoom in/out and FOV controls unfortunately.. I've also read the thread with hotkeys for nice camera options: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/95008-dcs-cameras-views-and-video-recording Now I've tried it all out, and yes, in general, it looks great. But I'm still feeling I'm missing some kind of tricks or some equipment to get nice angles and smooth movements. For example, in some videos I see people who (I guess in free cam mode) are flying next to the aircraft, and "flying over the aircraft" to another angle, into a smooth movement. Or just smoothly changing from angle. Or I see others doing some nice camera roll. Haven't found out how to do such a camera roll or smooth cam movement with my mouse or numpad keys. My guess is, that the ones with very smooth camera movements and very dynamic angles are using TrackIR and thus "filming" with their head movement. Is this true? I'm not having TrackIR and so moving the camera with my mouse. I've set the mouse sensivity to its lowest, but it looks so shaky, so static and not dynamic and smooth. Also, do you guys still nowadays use the AVI Tool? Or do you use video editing software to convert the video to 60FPS format? As it looks like the AVI tool (actually the track file) just ignores all my FOV and zoom in/out input. Is it a real must to have TrackIR to create stunning cinematics? Or is it possible to do this by mouse as well? Like I would like to know why I'm facing some limitations with camera movements, others seem not to have. As an example I've taken a cinematic video, and specify my questions on the things I see: On 0:22 seconds, I see some slow smooth camera movement. I'm not able to achieve this with my mouse (too shaky, too chaotic). How to achieve this? On 0:24 there's a zoom in (or FOV change). When I use the numpad keys for this zooming in/out is way to fast. On 1:16 the camera gets moved while flying together with the jet. Again a very nice slow movement, which I'm not able to produce by mouse or numpad. So it feels like I know the basics, but missing some tricks (or equipment like TrackIR)? Would be happy to receive your answers! And thanks for your effort for reading my questions

This is episode 3 of my new Short Funny Moments & Stupidity series. Haven't shared EP02 as I'm not litterally going to spam the forum with all episodes, so just find the others yourself

Hey! I'm currently creating a short funny moments & stupidity playlist series on YouTube and trying out all kind of crazy stuff within DCS World. Yep, might sound stupid for some people, and it is, but that's where the fun comes in (for some people). And ofcourse, I'm also training and practicing serious flights, maybe I will create some content of that too in the future. This is the 1st episode of the Short Funny Moments & Stupidity series: https://youtu.be/iBCIikHl5_c

Hey! I'm new here and just shared a video of me in which I'm trying to land my damaged F-15 jet safely, without both wings. I've watched some videos of others who tried to land with one wing and the "one wing wonder" - but haven't found any video demonstrating to land without both wings, for the F-15. I also would like to know how this is even possible, I'm not a pilot, so I'm not experienced with it. I've read that thrust can keep the jet in the air, when flying with only one wing, but looks like this also applies for flying without both wings. Well, I'm glad I took this challenge and attempted to land my jet safely.
