Overall, the flight model feels pretty good, with one notable exception - tail rotor thrust. There seems to be way too much right pedal required in level flight, regardless of airspeed. At roughly 100-110 KIAS, the vertical fin should have enough airflow to counter the torque effect at a cruise power setting, meaning the pedals should be roughly neutral. At slower speeds or higher power settings, therefore, you would anticipate needing MORE anti-torque effect, or left pedal. However, it seems that a significant amount of right pedal is required at speeds less than cruise. At those speeds, the vertical fin is not as effective, requiring more left pedal, but I find myself needing right pedal to keep the aircraft in trim. Thanks for all the work in getting this aircraft to where it is. It gives us geezers a chance to re-live our youth.

After probably 20 attempts, it worked. As an aside, I just updated on my old computer and there were no issues, which leads me to believe there is some security setting on the new machine that was preventing the update from completing. Win11 on the new machine vs. Win10 on the old one. Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but possible. Anyway, thanks for all of the help!

I have all firewalls turned off. I've even put this machine in the DMZ on my router. No VPN.

Tried that earlier. Still the same error. I've also tried cleanups and repairs. This is a clean install - new computer, new hard drive. DCS runs already on this drive. It just won't update.

As the title states. This was after multiple instances of the "server capacity" issue and multiple download restarts. I've run repairs and deleted all the files and started over, and still ended up with the same result. No issues. Brand new drive. Ran chkdsk to be sure, and it indicated no problems.

Managed to get everything loaded up finally after multiple attempts (at least 20). Patch releases today, attempt to update. Three attempts got me to the point where the unpacking and downloaded counters had completed, full green bar, but the updater wouldn't finish. Now when I try to update, this is what we have: null

It finally finished, but now it does the same thing when trying to download my modules. It’s barely downloading anything - maybe 50-100mb at a time, and then the dreaded “capacity” message.

I’m having the same issue. Just built a new PC and trying to load DCS. I’ve gotten the “capacity” message at least five times already since last night.

When conducting hellfire engagements, if the player pilot doesn't manually ARM the aircraft, but has George scan for and engage a target, George sets the aircraft to SAFE after the engagement is complete and de-WASes the missiles. The only way around this is to set the master arm to ARM from the backseat before having George scan for targets. This is cumbersome and unnecessary, especially when engaging multiple targets. I recommend that you change this to leave the aircraft ARMed and missiles WASed as long as the George menu is displayed and shows Hellfires as the selected weapon. Once the player hides the George menu, you could have George de-WAS and SAFE the aircraft. Thanks. george de-was.trk

Has anyone here tried to map a VIRPIL control button to a Voicemeeter Banana macro button? I have attempted to use the HID configuration tool in the macro button settings, and the HID tool can see my VIRPIL hardware, as well as the button press, but it will not activate the specific macro button. Has anyone had any success with this? Long version: I have a button on my VIRPIL collective that is my PTT for Discord. I am trying to map that same button to also activate the mute in Voicemeeter so that my Discord conversation isn't recorded on video or stream. I've confirmed that the mute macro button works to mute the mic to OBS while allowing it to transmit in Discord, but trying to get the macro mapped to a button is not working. TIA!

Same issue here. I confirmed all settings were correct (former RW AH-64D pilot), but missile will not track the laser spot. I was able to resolve it once after deleting metashaders and fxo folder contents, as well as removing some 3rd party mods, but the issue returned a short time later during the same session.
