I decided to uninstall and start anew! After it completed, I noticed some traces were still present! One of which was the S300 folder. Turns out I might have an SSD about to die! Trying a re-install to see if it all works!

Adjusted the whole path to the exclusion. Attempting update again! Following my attempt... It did not work. Exactly the same issue!

I have checked, and only the DCS.exe was in the exception list. I have now added the updater to the list... I'll let you know how I get on.

I have tried this. Deleted the _Downloads folder. Re-installed the update following a repair and the same error occurs. I don't really want to re-install the whole thing, as that takes forever and might give me the same result! If I click later when it prompts to update it gives the error: Can't run G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World Open Beta\bin/DCS.exe: (2) The system cannot find the file specified.

I have just tried to update to ver 2.8.0.32066 from 2.7.18.30765. I keep getting the following error after files are downloaded and are trying to be installed. It happens immediately. ERROR: Can't move G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\_downloads\Bazar/Liveries/S-300PS 5P85C ln/GRC_autumn/description.lua to G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar/Liveries/S-300PS 5P85C ln/GRC_autumn/description.lua: (183) Cannot create a file when that file already exists. autoupdate_templog.txt

I have been waiting for the new Raven 1 campaign since I heard of its development. I have 8500 miles to use. However all of the campaigns don't seem to let me use them at checkout. Can someone please check this is actually the case or a bug. Ron

Same for me. I have 8500 miles that it appears I can't spend/use! I've been waiting for this campaign for a while now! Ron
