  1. Greetings gentlemen, I need some help in the determining the cause of my dcs crash every time I try to take off my headset for a while, then put it back again (toilet break for example). Currently, I'm using a gaming laptop (legion 7 with RTX 3070) and Quest 2 with Oculus tray tool (all in-game settings are either off or low end by the way, with the exception of textures and visibility range which are medium settings). Below are pictures of my Oculus tray tool settings and a notepad containing the DCS log as well. Any help or suggestion is graciously appreciated, gentlemen...thank you for your attention Note = this problem has been happening for quite a while now, since last year everytime I try to take a toilet break (while taking off headset then put it on again), the game still resumes its activity dcs.log
  2. Is it me or the rafale seems to be underpowered a bit since I can't really dogfight a single MiG 29 with just meteor missiles loadout...

As a big fan of the rafale and the f35, I like this idea, however most people were aware that these aircrafts are quite new and fully classified, the only best bet is using the FC3 as the base for the mod, similar to Cuesta Rafale. Likewise, I'm still wondering that MSFS rafale and f35 are quite worthy of their model and cockpit texture, which of course hoping that these textures would be implemented in FC3 based mods as well But as for the f35, I was hoping for its mod one day (even it if was based on FC3) since I've been wanting it for quite a while (I'm not talking about external model only but the cockpits layout as well) Maybe if you're lucky and demand are in need, the community will try to recreate one like the case of the A4 Skyhawk mod

Interesting, pretty sure I did not use any mods or so but it happened on Marianas MP server more often than others (and yes, the server uses a bunch of aircraft mods such as A4E etc.) Maybe the server does have some conflict with performance should they used any mods. Should it count as a bug/glitch if that happened (something that needed to be fixed in future updates)?

Apologies for this as I was not able to play it either and it hangs as well in the first part of the log Thank you for the suggestion and every settings is either off/low depending it can be turned off or not (except for visib. range and textures which is medium, scenery details + preload radius are on middle setting as well at leas for me) But will post log in the future if I manage to reproduce the problem, stay tuned Gentlemen EDIT = yes, I use quest 2 for dcs

As someone with only 8GB of VRAM, I'm very grateful for this, thank you and why isn't this post or mod famous at the forum, considering MT still have a bit of issue at terrain and effect optimization? (my DCS went from 40 fps to 5 fps suddenly just by viewing a dust getting blown by helicopter rotors, and yes it keeps staying on 5 fps despite changing views after that unless restarted)

  10. Here it is Ran dcs couple hours ago like usual then all of sudden it went black screen today when joining the server. Not too long after that, the pc restarted by itself and it went to do like this for 2x (I had to force restart my pc the second it happened). I'm using oculus quest 2 with rtx3070 8GB running all on low settings (except for textures and visible range which is medium). my cpu is Ryzen 7 5800H and 32gb RAM. Max temperature reached 76,4 Celsius (169.52 Fahrenheit). All driver seems updated (though I'll have to check the sound driver since updating automatically from the device manager states "all device are up to date") dcs.log dcs.log.old
  11. Excuse me folks, my DCS has crashed when joining a server. After the crash, it immediately made my PC black screen and restart after a while (the whole screen goes black, only the mouse cursor is visible) Any help is appreciated, thank you Edit = wrong log dcs.20220725-191544.crash
