  1. i think this is less of a bug with the FCR and more how DCS handles line of sight, to an extend, enven enenmy AI sees you like you see them with the FCR as far as im aware, wich is what makes it so hard to actualy sneak up on enemys
  2. it picks up ALL rocket motors that it can see, no regard if its coming towards you or away from you, aimed at you or not ( in dcs ) its somewhat unreliable on servers with alot of missiles flying around since 80% of the time none of those missiles are going for you, wich makes it realy hard to figure out when you can actualy rely on it for your own defence
  3. My assumption ( and hope ) is that it will be selectable in the rearm screen, like the fuel tank is right now
  4. my hope is that "Very soon" means maybe still this year ( considering how far along it has come considering the snipeds we have seen of it in the vid ), we will know more once we get the good ol "hey everyone wags here from.. " about the FCR
  5. i would love supression beeing implemented, nothing worse than shooing a position with rockets, APCs, and Inf compleatly engulfed in Dust and smoke, and out of this thick, dense cloud come multiple tracers, flying directly towards you
  6. Dont get me wrong, i rearly get shot down, but the reason i dont get shot down is that i simply treat getting to close to the enemy as a death sentance, its just kinda comeedic that im as afraid of a hidden btr80 as i am of a fully fledged radar-guided AAA... my point beeing, the game is not unpöayabke, but i feel the accuracy, and ESPECALY the situational awareness of tanks and apc is just ... imersionbreaking, if i die because i hover 3 km infront of a tank, then thats on me, if i die flying 90kn sideways to a btr80 at 4km, then it starts to get silly( and while staying further away is easy in a apache, it realy feels like it goes against the doctrine of the mi-24..) Tldr: it constantly feels like you have to tiptoe around the AI and its quite imersionbreaking depending on the situation
  7. there is no reason to convince you otherwhise, going within engagementrange of the AI is just asking to die, the Apache is still one of the best helis in DCS tho for exactly this reason, unlike the Hind for example, wich IRL realy sets alot more emphathis on Rockets than missiles , the apache can just comfortably stay outside engagement range of 90% of the units and just fire off hellfires, its just a core DCS problem, wich tbh i dont see them fix anytime soon, i realy once thought that when they made the hind the just HAD to work on the AI aswell but here we are a few years later ....

    AGM-130

would love to know aswell if it works
  9. i seem to find that if you mount the limas on the heli before its spooled up they rearly hit, if you rearm after the heli is up and running i get them to work 100%
  10. i agree, ingame it seems the same as before(maybe even faster) as you say, im just refering to the initial startup of dcs
  11. Hello!, im not sure if already reported or if im in the right section here but has anyone else noticed DCS taking about twice as long to start up with the new update? my friend is experiencing the same issue
  12. im still dissapointed that the SD10 cant shoot at datalink contacts like it should, i personaly dont thing going to the 120 API would do much good, on one had i wish they could improve on their own API /SD10 code to suport all features the missile actualy has, on the other hand, considering how it hasnt happend over the years yet, i dont think it will happen ... all in all im just sceptical when it comes to using EDs APIs since they keep changing stuff often, and alot of times not for the better
  13. did i miss something durring todays patch ? the heli feels realy wobbly now its kinda hard to explain, especaly int he pitch axis, its realy bad, but in a different way as to how it used to be
