Friend & I are interested in building a moving platform / seat / cockpit with VR headset to hook up into DCS world. We're good at machining parts, welding etc ... just not sure how to start and go about this. Has anyone here attempted this and willing to give some guidance to get us going?

Hey this is exactly what a friend & i want to try to build. We're both good with torches, building things, machining parts etc... and software, just don't know were to start. Would really like to pick your brain on this if you don't mind
