  1. Quick screen shot of my set up which may help. 2xChannels, one to DCS main game and one to DCS saved game. Manager options are under 'edit' check the box and you should see you channel at start up. Hope it helps

In the test miz file i uploaded, set the a10 to autopilot straight away, then press F7 once and zoom in on the Flap Lid radar, it should rotate straight away and pick up the incoming planes and fire the first missile after approximately 3 or 4 seconds. If you are setting up your own group, set the skill level to good, default is average, and run a test doing the same as above, if the Flap Lid or other search radar (Big Bird) does not move then the setup is not right. Do not have more than one search radar and one track radar in the set up. As @Grimes says post your miz file and we will take a look

For the S-300 system to work you need to have the assets all in same group, therefore a C2 (Command Post Vehicle), a Track Radar, (Flap Lid A or B) a Search Radar, (Clam Shell Mast, Big Bird, or Tin Shield) and then also the 2 mobile launchers (1xTel C (master) and 1xTel D (Slave)) as a minimum, you can have more launchers if you want like the test miz below.   4. Yep, work to do, my final approach was further right than yours and lower with much more changes of direction to avoid the AAA. Keep going you can do it.
  5. Also never saw the flares due to the weather, visibility was so poor so waited for the SA-8 to disappear off the RWR. Once at the target had to be really aggressive in the manoeuvring to avoid the AAA and get the bombs off in CCIP. Hit the target and came back with rockets but took some hits from ground fire and limped back to base. Good mission but definitely harder than before.

  7. Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but the mirror shadow on the canopy glass is see through. A-10CII, latest open beta mt, shadows high

Great discussion, but don't forget this is a twin engine plane and the throttles need to be balanced for level flight otherwise thrust will be uneven and a roll will be induced one way or another. If you use a thrustmaster warthog setup with the throttle link pin removed you will see that each throttle, (although you might think you have them together), are actually producing slightly different amounts of thrust, (not much but enough), and so have to be balanced by one being in as lightly further forward or aft position of each other. A good way to see this in action is to conduct a long taxi and have one throttles slightly different to the other and not use any rudder. The plane will go left or right depending on the thrust applied or throttle positions and you can control the direction of taxi by increasing or decreasing the left or right throttle without rudder. Same happens in the air.
  9. Hi @flag02004 I to have combined both HDS and S-300 and like you have sorted out the bugs etc to get both versions working together. My S-300OPS works though and i remember correctly i to had to alter the sensor lua entries and some naming paths to get a full list from both Mods that doesn't conflict with the DCS SAM S-300 (Grumble) in 2.9. Send me a DM if you want to compare. I do like your new liveries/textures as well. If @LetMePickThat and any of the other original Mod developers want to also send me a DM to see my changes and hopefully get this all back up and available for the community. i don't want to tread on anyone's toes but am happy to help where i can.   10. Both the SR and TR Masts in the latest 2.9 Open Beta are missing fire and smoke after hits resulting in destruction. Is this intended behaviour?
  11. That link is dead for me to. However the 1.5 version works perfectly in 2.9 on both the Channel & Normandy Map. It still has the issue of always flying at 200 feet, which i think is linked to the missle using the ATGM data in the missile lua.
