I'm having issues with the carrier ATC incorrectly reporting the approach conditions. In this instance I have set up what is a clear, no clouds, no wind, fog mode off, basically a perfectly clear sunny windless day. The carrier ATC though is reporting a CASE II approach when it very clearly is a CASE I. I am also having issues of the carrier ATC reporting a CASE III approach when in what would be a standard CASE II, and perhaps it's the same thing causing the issue of getting a CASE II approach in CASE I conditions, but for the moment I'm just trying to get the carrier to report a CASE I approach. Attached is a screenshot of the weather settings for the mission and a .trk file. vTF-77 Dynamic Training V1.2.92-20250110-015244.trk What it looks like from the carrier.

"Official" F-4E Livery Discussion
DragonSoulkin replied to LanceCriminal86's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
At this point I'm less interested in having a livery paint-kit for the Phantom, and would much rather have dynamic board numbers for the Tomcat and Phantom. It's a pain in the arse for those of us that make liveries for squadron/s and takes up a ridiculous amount of storage space having to manually paint the numbers on for every individual modex, on each separate template that has the location/s of where the numbers would be placed (nose l/r, wing l/r, and tail l/r). Quadrupling the size of the livery files they would be if we just had dynamic board numbers and just had to worry about painting the names on the canopy rail. -
known issue No deck crew on Stennis after update?
DragonSoulkin replied to Hippo's topic in DCS: Supercarrier
I'm having the same issue with the wheel chocks. Edit: If you use the keybind "Pilot Salute" the wheel chocks go away and you'll get directed by deck-crew to a catapult. -
I have another thread on this topic, and what I find absolutely absurd is we have no way of doing anything about this problem of maps not having RSBN and ARK available without breaking integrity check. Add on the fact that as more maps release, that's more maps that don't have these navigational tools. So yeah, a mod can be used to add these navigational aids, but by doing so you're restricting yourself from playing the majority of public servers. At this point I don't give a rat's behind who's responsible or who can do what, just give us something for crying out loud that doesn't resort to the player-base having to make a temporary fix that keeps us from playing 2/3 of servers.

My submission is now available in the UserFiles. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3342243/

Yeah, the fact that this breaks integrity check led to me having to stop running the modified Rnav luas and it's beyond dumb that we STILL don't have a fix implemented or a way to do this that doesn't break integrity check.

solved Frame Spikes Returned
DragonSoulkin replied to DragonSoulkin's topic in Game Performance Bugs
I actually use game bar, but that wasn't it. Weird that it hasn't affected any other of my games but I flashed the bios and updated the chipset drivers and DCS is now running damn near perfect even bringing my settings back up. Thanks a bunch the bios hadn't even crossed my mind. -
Frame spikes have returned. I've provided every bit of information I can think of so hopefully we can figure something out. Testing.mp4 dcs.log DxDiag.txt vTF-77 Dynamic Training V1.2.6-20241002-185319.trk

DCS Update | F/A-18C and F-16C Fixes | End of Summer Sale
DragonSoulkin replied to Graphics's topic in Official Newsletters
Been waiting for this update since 2.9.6. -
I also experienced this issue with our group's dedicated training server. People weren't able to see the server after 30 minutes or so of it running but could still join via IP. To get it to stay visible I had to get rid of all modded assets (in this case the "476 Range Targets") and then it stayed visible.

While I am still getting the weird fps spikes in multiplayer, I was still getting the unplayable frame time jumps in single player even after getting rid of the 4 remaining mods (SRS, LotATC, TacView, Pw-Dev). So I did as you suggested and renamed my saved-games folder and it freaking worked. Single player no longer has a 2-4 second stutter every couple of seconds.

Here's what the log analyzer shows now. I can remove these last remaining mods but is that really going to be necessary? Setting these up was such a pain. dcs.log 319.71 kB · 8 downloads I suppose though since I can't play single player as it is it doesn't matter if I remove these and have to spend hours later reconfigured them if they're not the problem. I'll provide a recording as well as a track file.
