  1. One thing that helped stabilise George is if I command him to change altitude. If, let's say, I want him to come to a complete stop, I command him to increase altitude slightly (30ft or so). If I want him to move forward from hovering, I command him to decrease altitude slightly.
  2. Hello all ! Not sure if this has already been requested but, I think a nice feature would be to be able to put a random number of units between a certain range. For example 5-10 trucks so that when you go for the combat zone, you're not really sure how many there are
  3. Hello all, I know that this might be a non-issue for most, however, I think it makes sense that the Weapons Hold and Weapons Free Colour for George are swapped (i.e. Green = Weapons Hold, Yellow = Weapons Free). Reason being that this would match the colours for weapons ARM/Safe on the weapon page and also the Arm/Safe Button
  4. Hello All, I recently noticed that the wheels rotate faster than they actually should when taxiing. It's like they are slipping. This is especially visible when taxiing slowly. Has anyone noticed this and should I post a short video of it or is it a common occurrence?
  5. Hello Grease, So yes, the distance definitely has an affect to where the TGP snowplows vertically but I'm still trying to fine tune it. In any case, I will mark your reply as a solution, thank you !
  6. I've seen the below post and I'm trying to recalibrate myself on how to use the Snowplow
  7. Hello, thanks a lot for replying ! I'll try it out and let you know
  8. Okay sorry for that, I thought that although he knew the procedure, what annoyed him was that there was a some uncertainty in it. Well, as far as I know, if you start in the air the tgp and mavs are boresighted. That's as far as I know and I don't play online
  9. Hello Cosmo, I know what you're saying. I've also gone through your frustration but now that I've been through it, I tackle it this way and work almost every time. 1) Switch on TGP and Mavs (I usually start with the Viper on the runway so I'm ready to go) 2) Fly out at least about 10 Nm runway heading, take your time. Make sure TGP and Mavs are up and running. 3) Make a 180 degree turn and fly back to the field. I usually keep my speed around 300 KCAS and around 6000 feet or so 4) Switch on Autopilot to Maintain Alt and heading. 5) Pick a decent target (Like a PAR or something that is close to the runway and easily visible) with the TGP as SOI 6) Make Mavs SOI, slew to target, TMS UP to lock target (make sure crosshair is closed). Try 7Nm or less, BSGT - Mav is now boresighted. TMS Down. 7) Cycle to Next Station and repeat step 6. I suggest to try and boresight the mavs when distance is between 3 and 7 Nm to ensure proper boresightedness. I also usually move the TGP crosshair and compare with what the Mavs are seeing to ensure they're looking at the same target. Keep practicing, it's worth it.
  10. Hello all, Since the last update, whenever I press SP for the TGP, the SnowPlow mode seems to be bugged. Horizontally is good, but vertically, it seems to slew upwards instead of downwards...which makes it difficult to use it tactically. Can anyone confirm whether I'm right or maybe doing something wrong? Thank you !
  11. Thanks all for the replies...extremely helpful ! Safe missions
  12. Hello All, Can you please help me with this issue? The KIAS on the HUD (279 Kts) is different from the KIAS shown in the external view (272 Kts). Kindly refer to the attached images. Does anyone know why there is this discrepancy? I mostly find it confusing when I need to rendez-vous with a Tanker.
