  1. Hi I just learn the A10C II a bit and wanted to fly online today. First I noticed that the canopy needs to be open to re-arm in first place which is a bit weird. But after loading the weapons of choice, a bigger prob came up: my weapon page does not list any weapons and all stations are red. Can someone help me solve this issue (btw I did wait for the load master to finish the job)? It is a bit like the problem above so I just follow up here. I dont see or understand a solution above though. I hope someone knows how to do it right Tia! It feels I need to reload the weapon system somehow but I dont have a clue on how to do this.
  2. Hi, Since the last update i have a black cursor for in cockpit use. This is quite unhandy since it is not visible as the white cursor was. So, can i change this colour somehow? Tia!
  3. Yes indeed. I cant find the file you mentioned on steam edition. Well i only play short on this pc. And maybe ill go back to another Antivirus soon. Thx!
  4. F-Secure. Turned it off and works again. Thx for the tip.
  5. There is no different outcome when starting direct from pc. And i dont see any suspicious event in the event viewer.
  6. I dont have any logs yet since it never starts the game.
  7. Ok i re-installed dcs (and Steam). But i still cant start the game. I can push play in steam, then it loads 3 secs and the pushbutton turns back to "Play" again. Weird. Dont have a clue what it could be. I know that other programs do work in Steam. And also FS2020 does work (which is non-steam version). Also ran 3DMark and no errors occured on pc hardware.
  8. Have exactly the same. Currently im reinstalling the game. Tried to start vanilla mode in steam (without VR) which was not working either. Normally i play DCS in VR with MQ3 via Virtual Desktop btw. I noticed there was still a "beta version" installed this morning and i thought DCS was uniting all versions from now on, so just chose to reinstall as somehting might be wrong there... Takes some hours, lets see.
  9. Hi, Since the update of this week DCS does not start from PC or VR anymore. Are there any known bugs? Already did integrity check but no result. Tia
  10. Its the holiday so time for some 'nice' flying. I noticed that this issue is still there and it is very annoying. Noone seems to bother apparently. Just move on to the FCR radar and leave the bugs behind. Im not really amused tbh.
  11. My latest tanking some days ago took about 5-10 mins i think (not counting the time of getting disconnected ). This was not for a full tank btw more like 80% full. Yep takes some time. Not sure if was quicker before. Dont think so.
  12. Chat GTP tells me this: Yes, in theory, a JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Munition) bomb could be intercepted and destroyed by a SAM (Surface-to-Air Missile) system if certain conditions are met. Here are a few factors to consider: 1. **Detection and Tracking**: The SAM system would need to detect and continuously track the JDAM. JDAMs are relatively small compared to aircraft and are unpowered (they glide), which might make them harder to detect on radar, especially at low altitudes. 2. **Engagement Window**: Once released, a JDAM will reach its target in a relatively short amount of time, depending on the altitude from which it was dropped. This gives the SAM system a very limited window of opportunity to engage and intercept the bomb. 3. **Missile Agility**: The SAM would need to have sufficient agility to intercept a fast-moving, potentially maneuvering target like a JDAM. This would depend on the specific type of SAM and its capabilities. 4. **Operational Scenario**: SAM systems are primarily designed to target aircraft and missiles. Intercepting a bomb, especially one as small and fast as a JDAM, would be an unconventional use of a SAM and might require adjustments to the system's operational software and tactics. 5. **Cost and Practicality**: Using an expensive SAM missile to intercept a bomb might not be cost-effective or practical in many scenarios. The decision to use SAMs in this manner would also depend on the tactical situation and the value of the target the JDAM is trying to hit. In conclusion, while it is theoretically possible for a SAM to intercept a JDAM, doing so would be challenging and would depend on multiple factors. It's also worth noting that using SAMs to intercept bombs is not a typical or primary mission for most SAM systems.
  13. Hi, Just wondering about a GBU 38 that seemed to be taken out by a SA15 before hitting my target. Is this a bug or can this be real? TY
